All rhythm games (DDR, beatmania, stepmania, RockBand, Project Diva, PaRappa, etc.) are allowed, but no LL please. They have more than enough for their own thread.

I've wanted to cosplay a DDR character for so long, but I haven't exactly settled on one. Alice seems to be the most popular. I've also wanted to do an all same-character but different module group from PD. Those feels when no other rhythm gamers are near you ;_;

I think you're more likely to get interest and responses from posting this on a Facebook rhythm game group or something because arcade rhythm games are a pretty niche interest.
Both the /cgl/ and the bemani community are pretty brutal so good luck.

I...don't know why I ever thought of that. I'll give it a shot. Although since these designs are fairly simple, I know I need to step up my game on how accurate/clean they are. I feel like I'm up to the challenge. Thanks for the encouragement.

I've been planning a Goku Sotsu-kun cosplay for almost two years now as he's my favorite Pop'n character. I love his character songs.

I was supposed to be doing a duo mascot cosplay of Mimi and Nyami with a fellow gull (she cosplayed Parappa at Youmacon) this year but she kinda vanished a week after contact. I'm hoping to hear from her again.

I would love to do a Lammy cosplay but she's definitely not as well known as PaRappa. I was even considering getting a friend to cosplay PaRappa just so I could hopefully be a little more recognizable but I'm also worried it might turn into that thing of "Can I get your picture? No not both of you!" A girl can dream I guess. :'(

I think that the fabric that is used for the non-satin Love Live Cyber outfits would be perfect since it's pretty matte with a slight shine but I'm not sure exactly what it is

OP here, so as an update the only facebook group I found was a bunch of guys playing Guitar Hero. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I am in need of a community that suits my interests more.

Also I love Rhythm Heaven! It was super fun to play so I can see why you would want to cosplay from it. I had to sell my DS in the past so I never finished it so I can only imagine the designs.

I'm totally looking to cosplay Rhythm but in her alternate colors (unfortunately I cannot find any references other than a blurry video of her dancing in dancer select, so I may have to just buy the game off of amazon) but at least I have good references for the details. I just can't do the original, the colors bug me so much. Those boots look so fun to make though.

I kinda can see why this looks difficult, but only one part of it does to me (which is the light up parts lol) I found a cosplay of it that helps give an idea of how you could do it. Maybe hop over to one of the other boards for electronical advice or google tutorials on simple LED installation? Kamui has a few.
