Adult EGL would be great to get up and running, and not just because of what happened here. Though truthfully I'm pretty disgusted that someone who's a leader of a group acted this way and backpedaled so hard.

Anyway, is anyone going to be posting wardrobe posts on amino? Not sure if the blog posts would work for that but I think it could be a nice, convenient way to showcase some posts.

I don't know that girl's story, but I think it's kind of silly to assume that she just -doesn't- do her own laundry at all.

It took me many years and many ruined pairs of clothing (luckily nothing as expensive as brand) until I finally convinced my parents that thwm doing my laundry was NOT, in fact, helping me in any way. Some parents will just do their kids' laundry without asking. My best friend is the same way. He literally had to start hiding his laundry under his bed because his mom wouldn't listen to him when he basically told her to please let not touch his laundry.

tl;dr some parents are weird and unreasonable about boundaries especially when it comes to stupid shit like laundry

Just because we have this one story of her mom doing her laundry doesn't mean she doesn't do her own. Lots of parents get that wild hair up their ass and do the house laundry. I have been doing my laundry since I was 12 but that didn't stop my mom from doing my laundry from time to time. They figured that if they where doing their laundry might as do the rest of the houses laundry. I'm 27 now and my mom still does my laundry when she comes over to my house. I have had to make a basket just for my lolita and keep it in my closet just to keep her from washing it. She knows that that basket is unique and not to touch it. But if your parents are gonna do laundry they more often then no will do your laundry as well.

It doesn't seem like she's embarrassed by what she's done but embarrassed that others didn't see her immature and vindictive display as something funny.

Normally I wouldn't give a flying fuck about what some teenager does but she's put herself in a position where she's seen as a leader and even a mentor, and she's revealed that she's anything but those things in her private life. It's a shame that someone like Lor (yeah, yeah, I know she isn't very popular here) can't be the creator or mod of something like this. She actually helps new people and genuinely loves the fashion. I've been considering hosting my entire wardrobe.. thing for 2017 on amino, the way I was planning on going about it is since I don't have any of those "favorites" albums, to make them for different catergories (main pieces/blouses/shoes/outerwear/accessories), and then having a blog post discussing and having detail photos of my favorite pieces, with the collections linked in at the bottom if that makes sense.

Not to mention, changing leaders is rough. There's forms to fill and send of to team amino which is essentially a black hole. I agree that deco is too young and vindictive to be a leader now, but getting her replaced will take a good bit of effort. But not all the mods condemn this story of hers.

How I do wordrobe posts is group items together like 3-4 jsk's in similar styles then list them. Hair accessories can all be in one photo since they are small and easy put together. Socks if they go with a dress will be with the dress. Blouses would be 3-5 in one image. I don't like wordrobe posts where you're scrolling for days just to see it because they put everything one by one. That's time consuming.

The moderation team usually needs to pick somehow, and most moderation teams I've seen don't even open up applications for mods; they just keep an eye on those they deem mod worthy and ask them in private at a certain point if they wanna join the team.
