Here's my 2 cents. Cuts of different lengths catering to both taller and petite gulls. Also cuts/shirring for the bigger ladies around the bust/waist. Lovely summery print that hasn't been overdone to death like strawberries, cherries, other fruits in general, florals, gingham, etc . I reckon: off white > blue > black colourways. Meta has s loyal fanbase. Yeah it'll do well.

On another note the socks that they coordinated it with don't match it thematically but they're some nice socks. They'd go well with anything else. Again offwhite x gold and black x red will be popular. The offwhite x lemon and offwhite x powder blue less so.

Here's to hoping my predictions hold up when it's released.

Loner lolita of 3 years here! There are definitely pro to being a loner lolita. You can wear the clothes more how you like and experiment more, no real drama and the likes.
You can easily just follow the online community and 4chan.
BUT as far as I've heard the irl drama is very minimal and I'm guessing it's just very overblown online. And sometimes I wish I had a lolita friend to talk about the hobby and dress up together.
You can easily wear lolita without a comm, but I wouldn't see the online drama as representative for real lolita communities.

You can start slow and build it up, plain and simple sweet lolita in itself is very eye catching so maybe try that first. Go simple: Non printed JSK paired with a simple blouse, socks, matching (minimal) accessories, shoes, purse, maybe a parasol if you want, see how going out in plain pastels works out for you. Take the time to build your confidence and you might be able to wear 2010 sweet without issue eventually.

Thanks for sharing OP! I'm not sure what to translate, so I'll just summarize stuff I found interesting?

I see a lot of comments mentioning that people like the style and find it cute, people like looking at the style, etc. seems like most of these posters are too shy to wear the fashion or think their bodies or age don't suit it.

There's a comment noting that a parent attended a PTA meeting dressed in lolita, how impressive.

had a weird dream about lolita last night, I was at some convection and dressed in gothic. It began raining outside there was a really bitchy ita who started cussing out everyone there, and once they started yelling at her she punched me and ran out of fear

Does anyone have experience ordering from Bunny House? I need a good new bell-shaped petticoat, and their's seem to be good.

When filling out the order form, do you list your exact waist measurement?

For the length, I'm unsure what it should be, most of my dresses hit right above my knee, but they do vary slightly. Would 45 cm be a good general length?

I think the "super large" would be too much poof for me, so I'm deciding between "medium" and "large". I want it to be enough poof, but not too much.

Also, how is their shipping? I know they have an EMS option as well, but I'd like to avoid extra costs if I can.

I listed my exact waist measurement and it fits... slightly loose so maybe subtract 2cm or something (depends on how you like them to fit though; it's not like mine is sliding off of me). 45cm is a good general length; it's the length of the CP petticoats. You could measure from your waist to about where your dresses hit to see, then subtract 5-10cm from that length.

I have the medium one and it's a good amount of poof. Not super poof ala Angelic Pretty, but a Baby-level of poof. Their shipping to the US took about 2 weeks for $15.

Are these worth it?
I have large boobs so I always struggle with blouses but there are a lot of these and they aren't too expensive. I know they are stained, but...

>> No.9114483

>>9114429

Since most of the blouses are white/off-white, you should be able to throw the lot into a bucket of bleach and most of them should survive, however, you have to be prepared to lose a few along the way -- some might not survive the bleach, some might survive it too well with stains still intact, some might survive and be nice and white but be the wrong size/shape or kinda fug and you can't sell them off afterwards, etc etc. That's why the price is low, you're basically taking a gamble on what the stains are, that you can remove them all, and that you can use the blouse afterwards. Pretty much only do it if (a)you have enough experience with lolita laundry/stain removal, and (b)you don't mind if the gamble doesn't work out and you lose some blouses.

If you're a large cup size it's almost a given there's no lolita brand that makes princess seam blouses for large cup sizes, anything above F cup you can save yourself a lot of grief going straight for custom/homemade instead of hunting high and low for that perfect blouse.

So do many people. But it takes time and effort to run a FB group so no one has made one yet. I'm sure the people who post Japanese releases would probably join and post if asked though so someone really should do it. I mod two (non-lolita) FB groups though and it does take a bit of committed regular time and effort to approve memberships, eject spammers, shut down off-topic stuff etc. It would be good to have a Japanese-only releases (and of course no bodyline) group. I think it has to do with past when lolita was harder to get so prices stayed higher. People are just used to get more from their clothes and won't accept it. Japanese standards are also a lot higher. I don't buy much from west unless it's a good deal or local. The stuff in my country tends to be a lot cheaper than in west generally since we have fewer buyers so I'm lucky. People here are also more conserned about flaws. But yeah I definitely use the Japanese auctions most. Stuff is in great condition and if it isn't it's usually super cheap.

To the people who keep asking this question:

No, the western lolita community isn't dying. The lolita community as you used to know it is, however, changing. That's all. And maybe you don't like how it's changing, that's fine - but all fashion communities change.

If you are speaking about how online comms have changed - people have begun changing their online presence a lot for a variety of reasons and I think people think it's "dead" because of the way lolitas interact online is different, but regardless the fashion is as alive and active as ever. A lot of older members of my comm will talk about how the comm has never been as active as it has been in the past 2 years.

Comms in specific locales may have inactive comms or only somewhat-active comms, but I do not believe that this is indicative of a larger pattern; some areas are just like that.

I would say the stuff I have from Yolanda is better than the shit I have from Bodyline.

t. blog on your own blog, post blog in a thread where people care to see other blogs

>>9116495
>if op thinks bodyline and tabao are on the same level
t. op doesn't have the taste to identify the good stuff on taobao.

tl;dr let's clean our reading glasses and calm down.

They are, I've seen them and to be honest - they're pretty boring and I've yet to see anyone get a ton of comments because who the fuck cares about blogs anymore. Most people use microblogging platforms instead. And all those have gone to shit too.
But if you post about being from /k/ and being a brolita in the fucking dead ass instagram thread, it's not gonna do shit and no one is gonna care because very few people use that thread anyways. My argument is more with the person who said they shouldn't be posting in this thread because "weh, blog posting"
And as per usual with gull posters who are 90% troll anyway, no one had any real critiq to give other than "go away other board" as if they only frequent /cgl/ and if you only frequent /cgl/, well, what does that say about you?

>>9116500
See above about how people rarely do this now and how most people don't care about blogs regardless of where they are posted.

The blog threads compared to social media threads are even more dead here.

What qualifies someone having taste in your subjective opinion btw?

some of these bitches weren't here to see your original post and how this is relevant. I'm glad you were able to wear that first draft out and take notes about what you need to do to make it better.
that petti is definitely too flat. you don't need to scrap it, just get a fluffier one (classical puppets isn't a bad first real petti), and then you can layer both for the skirts that can take it.

thanks for sharing! that IW dress looks really nice on you. oh, and try maybe some clip-on hair accessories if you are worried that your ear-protectors won't allow a proper headbow on a headband

Thanks anon. :)
I was going to get something clip on, but couldn't find something fitting in time, so I left it out. I think next time I'll use ear plugs instead of muffs so hey can go under the wig.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Some of the other anons were harsh, but it's for the best since I was/am ignorant board culture since I had so little time. I know a little better now though, and I'm actively lurking, so hopefully I don't cause a shitstorm next time I post. :)

Google is your friend, anon. The first entry under 'BNWT meaning' is a buying guide for all the common seller abbreviations.
