I get a lot of ageplay followers. I post tame moeblob drawings, G rated anime figures, and plushies. I have no idea why there are so many ddlg accounts following me, really. In my rare selfie or ootd post (maybe 5 out of 60 posts), I am always wearing plain clothes like jeans. I get really pissed when they tag me in their ddlg questionnaires -- I think that's when my hatred for them really started.

The only hashtags I use are things like #drawing or #sketch and the name of the anime that my figures are from. Most of my posts don't have tags at all. Linecam but the stickers aren't Linecam's in-app ones. They're transparent images/vectors overlayed on the picture through the app.
To add the images/vectors, go to the heart in the menu (the one that leads you to stickers) and tap on "crop". It'll open up your photos and then you can pick what to put on your picture and resize the vector, etc.

I had an older instagram where I kept up a theme/aesthetic. Sometimes if I really wanted to post a photo that didn't fit, I would keep it up for only a day or two then deleted it. I didn't use filters but tried to use photos that had mostly white or light backgrounds and put a little bit of meitu sparkles in the corner. I think the extreme hate about shoop is mostly a /cgl/ thing though. It's obvious that both pineberry/zekia are recognizable in real life (i.e. they don't shoop enough to look completely different irl), and I've never seen them get hate for it outside of /cgl/. Eikkibunny is a different story imo, even though she's been pretty open about shooping, I don't think I'd recognize her irl.

I could probably recognize Zekia since it doesn't seem like she shoops much (just eye enlargening) but pineberry on the other hand looks different in each picture. In some her nose is super small, other her jaws smaller than other pics, sometimes her cheek are rounder etc. It makes me think that she doesn't really look like her pics.

I don't mind natural looking shoop, clearing up acne and all that, but if it gets to the point where you look like a cross between a moe animu girl and an alien it looks fairly uncanny valley. I'm not sure why people want to do that to themselves even in photos. It's their prerogative but I don't have to like it.

I don't feel like makeup is "lying" to people. However, over-shooping makes me uncomfortable because it's not even realistic. There are some people that consistently shoop themselves to have faces and bodies that are not really physically possible (and other races as well, which is even more uncomfortable to me) and it just makes me feel bad because it kind of shows an unhealthy view about how people should look and their own self image.

I agree with these, although I did see a girl who was able to shoop her photos into looking like really well done video game character (like final fantasy maybe?). I thought her selfies were amazing drawings at first , but I realized she was doing it with photos of objects too. She DIDN'T make herself look like a pore-less, bug-eyed alien, but she did do a lot of enhancement with lighting in her eyes and in the background. It was honestly pretty cool.

I'm not sure if IG's new algorithm has changed things for my follower engagement, because I happened to decrease my posting around the same time due to studies.
Now with my sporadic posting I'm at about 20% engagement rate. This used to be higher, around 35-40%, but I feel thats because I was posting regularly at the time and not fault of the algorithm. I'm suprised only ~6% is considered good, unless I'm calculating my % wrong? Or just because I have a small following. (600followers, 120 current like average)

On the other hand, I have really noticed it effecting my feed. It's frustrating when I refresh my feed only to see a post at the top that I had already seen hours previously.

It might be because you just have 600 followers. I have a terrible engagement rate, but I also have 24k+ followers (gained in 6~ months but I think a lot of them are inactive accounts or people's multiple accounts).
