>How long have you been in lolita?
I've been into it since I was a junior in high school (4 years) but I've only been wearing it for less than a year.
>How many main pieces do you have?
Two main pieces right now
>How much brand vs offbrand?
All of my things are bodyline right now

Sweet which is a weird thing since I'm goth and punk when I'm in normie clothes

Heard about it in 2008, only got the financial situation to start seriously buying pieces in 2013

6 ops, 20 jsks and 10 skirts
>How much brand vs offbrand?
75% brand, most of them old school baby. Offbrand is evenly split between taobao and handmade

Gothic and sweet in black colourways

>How long have you been in lolita?
>How many main pieces do you have?
Five main pieces - including one I'm currently trying to sell right now, one skirt, six blouses, and three shoes.
>How much brand vs offbrand?
It's mainly my main pieces that I try to keep strictly lolita brand (AATP, Bodyline, etc); I have two offbrand blouses; and I have one pair of offbrand shoes. All the other things I use for lolita - like headwear, accessories, and legwear - are mainly offbrand.
>What styles do you mostly own?
Gothic, classic, mainly black items (except for blouses).
>What would your ideal number be?
Someday I'd like to get to 15 main pieces and blouses, enough to where I could wear lolita at least once a month. My wardrobe is still pretty small.

Found out about the style ~10 years ago, bought my first piece 5 years ago, and only started fleshing out my wardrobe in this last year.
>How many main pieces do you have?
12. Plus assorted blouses/vests/jackets.
>How much brand vs off brand?
Most of my main pieces are brand except for 3 (which are Lief and KL) All my jackets and vests are brand. Blouses are a mix of brand and KL.
>What styles do you mostly own?
Old school and golden age AatP. But for such a small wardrobe it's a shocking gamut running between Oldschool, gothic, classic, and sweet-classic (mainly because of my love of sailor Lolita)
>What would your ideal number be?
Honestly I don't have an ideal. I try and focus on buying things I like that fit my wardrobe color wise if nothing else. Slowly I think I'm getting it.

Two offbrand, one AP

Currently, I own one classic dress, one more gothic but still kind of classic, and one sweet, but I'm probably gonna be the most invested in classic

I think 20 main pieces is a good number. My ideal breakdown would be 5 op's, 6 jsk's, 6 skirts, 3 salopettes or some such. Mostly, I'd just like to get to a point where I only own stuff I like and wear regularly though.

Primarily sweet. While there is a little bit of everything in there, I tend to prefer relatively simple, old-school styles. It gets a little difficult when I have a super formal event to go to, but I'm in the process of acquiring fancier pieces that still suit me.

As many as possible, I guess. I always wanted to be able to wear frills everyday, but at the moment I'd feel like I'm just cycling through outfits. Mostly sweet, a bit of gothic and like 2 classic pieces. I like everything but I would say I only have a true wardrobe for sweet.
>What would your ideal number be?
I wear it almost daily so I'll probably always keep adding more for variety, but there's only about 3 or 4 dresses on my wishlist. I plan to slow down a lot this year.

>How long have you been in lolita?
Probably lurking for 4/5 years, wearing it for 1 year due to me only just having the confidence and the money to wear it.
>How many main pieces do you have?
Shamefully, 4. However that's because I've been only buying pieces I really love. My first piece was brand (not that I'm a richfag, kek, no way) because I only want pieces that I love. Quality over quantity for me, yo
>How much brand vs offbrand?
2 brand (one top tier dream dress!) And 2 offbrand ( KL and ista mori)
>What styles do you mostly own?
Sweet, hands down. I'd probably suit Gothic or classic better, but I'm drawn to pastels.
>What would your ideal number be?
Probably like, a million haha
Realistically, enough so that I can wear it at least twice a week.

>How long have you been in lolita?
I discovered it in 2007 and handmade a bunch of shitty pieces, but really started wearing it when I turned 19 and had a job in 2013.
>How many main pieces do you have?
Somewhere around 27 pieces, I do frequent closet purges so it's been a while since I've counted.
>How much brand vs offbrand?
Mostly brand, I think I have about 4-6 offbrand main pieces.
>What styles do you mostly own?
Mostly mature sweet, and all but one of the offbrand dresses are jellyfish printed.
>What would your ideal number be?
Closet space is the limit at the moment. Someday I'll have a walk in closet with plenty of room, but right now I share a normal one with my boyfriend.

>How long have you been in lolita?
4 years. I had actually been in love with the look for years due to anime such as MoonPhase, but it wasn't until 2012 that I discovered lolita was an actual fashion/subculture, so I don't say that I had an ita phase.
>How many main pieces do you have?
11 JSKs and 2 skirts. No OPs for this linebacker.
>How much brand vs offbrand?
It's weird. All but one of my main pieces are brand, but all but one of my blouses are from Taobao. The vast majority of my accessories are from Taobao, with a little bit of western indie. Shoes are Taobao and Bodyline. Bags are all burando. Socks are a healthy mix of everything.
>What styles do you mostly own?
I've got a weird toned-down sweet/sweet-gothic thing going on.
>What would your ideal number be?
My wardrobe will grow as long as I've got the funds, though I'm trying to focus on getting more pieces so that I have at least two coordinates per dress.

Sweet, definitely. But there's still a fair amount of representation for classic and gothic.

60-75% brand for main pieces, most of my offbrand main pieces are handmade

Sweet and classic, but some goth
>What would your ideal number be?
Not really sure. I'd love to have enough coords to have at least one a month, so right now I have plenty of pieces to do that. There's still dresses I want, but I feel like I don't need more than 20 dresses for as much as I wear lolita.

I've been interested in it for about 2 years, but I've only been wearing it for about a year and two months.
>How many main pieces do you have?
7
>How much brand vs offbrand?
Slightly more brand than offbrand. 4 out of my 7 main pieces are Angelic Pretty, I also own a pair of Angelic Pretty shoes, a bag, and several accessories. As for offbrand items, my other 3 main pieces are Bodyline, and the rest of my items are other offbrand.
>What styles do you mostly own?
Sweet.
>What would your ideal number be?
I would ideally like to have as many main pieces as I can. There's a lot of prints I love, I really hope to obtain all my favorites. I want to continue to expand all parts of my wardrobe, not main pieces, and I want as much of it as possible to be brand. I'm planning on getting rid of my Bodyline stuff.

Classic and sweet classic. The one skirt I have is gothic and I wouldn't mind trying out that style more.

>How long have you been in lolita?
Been a fan since 2005 - owned some bl shit I wore in ita coords to cons. Always wanted to do it right but had different priorities at the time and finances were tight. Got out of an abusive relationship in 2012 and started researching, lurking et al. Got a haul of some good gothic basics from f+f, placed a taobao order for parasols and accessories and started wearing the fashion in earnest. The fashion helped me move on by making me feel confident and beautiful in the brave new world I was living without my ex.

>How many main pieces do you have?

70% brand. I don't buy as much offbrand as I once did.

Gothic and classic, with most of my classic being dark classic. I have a small collection of sweet, but my sweet pieces usually combine with another style.
