counting my 3 skirts: 13 (1 in the mail)

2 of my mains are indie brand, and one of my skirts is top-tier taobao. Almost all of my blouses, accessories, and legwear are offbrand. oh, and all of my shoes are offbrand because tall and size 27 feet. I wish I could own at least one pair of brand shoes.

I'd like to identify as strictly gothic, but I found out I love classic and some wacky sweet prints as well. no cohesion at all in my wardrobe lol

ideal number of main pieces? hmm, I don't really have one in mind. maybe 20? I definitely need more blouses, so I'm trying to focus on building that part of my wardrobe. right now I only have maybe 7 blouses.

4 years. I had actually been in love with the look for years due to anime such as MoonPhase, but it wasn't until 2012 that I discovered lolita was an actual fashion/subculture, so I don't say that I had an ita phase.

It's weird. All but one of my main pieces are brand, but all but one of my blouses are from Taobao. The vast majority of my accessories are from Taobao, with a little bit of western indie. Shoes are Taobao and Bodyline. Bags are all burando. Socks are a healthy mix of everything.

I've got a weird toned-down sweet/sweet-gothic thing going on.

Been a fan since 2005 - owned some bl shit I wore in ita coords to cons. Always wanted to do it right but had different priorities at the time and finances were tight. Got out of an abusive relationship in 2012 and started researching, lurking et al. Got a haul of some good gothic basics from f+f, placed a taobao order for parasols and accessories and started wearing the fashion in earnest. The fashion helped me move on by making me feel confident and beautiful in the brave new world I was living without my ex.
