Get a jar of pine resin and a towel, as well as a thick piece of leather.

Take the jar of pine resin and smash it on the area you want the scar until it the proper appearance is gained. Use the towel to clean the area, wait a few weeks, and you have an all-natural scar.

The leather is to bite down on to stop screaming.

That's what people have said, but there are other differences between the two. (McCree's holster for one, and the face and hat are actually different from the normal McCree model and look like the past McCree we've seen in official art before.)

I'll wait to find out if it's a real thing first, but I kind of like it enough to make it even if it's fake. There are also some things about it that will be easier for me to make than the normal McCree too. (That chest armor is a lot easier to shape than the default one, for example.)

to start, do you have a lacefront? there's no way to do a decent junkrat without a lacefront. secondly, his hair is always pointing back, you have a lot sticking way too up/foreward. look at the shape of junkrat's hair, his is separated into pic related, while you seem to have all sticky-uppy pointy triangles. There's thinner variants, thin enough to use a scoring tool. If you're in the US, Google for "Plexiglas", it's a brand name. I found mine looking for "polystyrene glass".

Pic related is the tool I used to cut an acrylic sheet 4mm/0.16 inch thick. That thickness of plexi might be a bit too thin for longer strips like Mercy's wings, but it's an option.

I'm also having that issue with McCree's mechanical arm. He's modeled with yaoi-sized hands, and I'm stuck with my scrawny little mitts. I've resigned to having to forgo the knuckle-joint details in favor of a painted armsock, because there's just not enough space to add additional parts.

Scaling down the details on the elbow joint is probably going to be a royal pain as well. Pic related, the clunky oversized proportions are what I'm trying to avoid.

I think the meme/joke cosplays are quickly overwhelming the actual ones, and I wish people would consider going canon. I think many people would get more joy out of seeing a legit game outfit than one of the countless cardboard box D.va's or Dad 76's.

Which printer did you get? I've been on the fence about getting one, especially since there's many prop models on the web now, but the choices are overwhelming. $400 seems great for my budget (under $1k is my hard-limit, under $500 preferred), especially when there's proof it works for cosplay sized items.

I bought a Wanhao Duplicator i3
For modifications to it; I printed new bearing blocks, z axis supports, glass printing bed, all metal hot end, got an enclosure for it and some little bed screw wheel things
I absolutely recommend them, they turn it from an ok printer to a pretty darn good printer, especially for the price
With all the modifications I've probably spent maybe 100 or 150? I can't really remember
And maybe a couple hundred on filament because I fuck up my prints a lot and waste it
