Sure thing, it's a bit long since she really packs a lot of info in every PDF but I'll skip some of the pages about tools and general stuff. I highly recommend joining her email list or at least checking out her site for projects if you like this pattern. I've made a few of the freebies from here and there is a monthly free pattern thing for super cute chibi type plushes. This month is the gryffin I think? To qualify for getting it free is super easy all you do is sew something from the etsy shop or free patterns and get the new release free. They're all fairly easy to sew, too.

I have a personal project I want to work on but I'm pretty novice when it comes to sewing.

Fake fur is a pain in the ass and gets everywhere, cut it with a razor blade to avoid cutting the fur when you cut.
Not sure how well sculpting with holes onto fabric will work, since clay is usually heavier than plastic.

Thank you for the info! I can already imagine fake fur is going to be a nightmare. I was thinking the same thing about weight. I might incorporate an armature into the back of the face, with only a thin layer of clay. Or consider using a lighter clay. I also work with resin but in the long run I dont think it would work as well. It could be nice though to make small accessories like the pendant of a collar with it however.

I thought that's what the praise is for, the pattern is specifically from really old gosuroris printed maybe over a decade ago, long out of print, difficult to find, and represent a slice of lolita history. Can you even remember a time when front lacing still acceptable and not met with derision from most lolitas.

Quite a different story from requesting a current pattern from an indie pattern maker who is trying to make a living off selling patterns in the present.

So someone said no, they refuse to share a paid pattern. Just move on. Eventually, in some future thread, some more laid back anon will be willing to share the paid patterns.

However, if an anon requests a paid-for pattern, I think it goes with the territory that they expect possible backlash, either from people who sell patterns, or people who paid for patterns. People do have different moral compasses, some people take things like this more seriously and others don't care.

It's the posting sarcastic remarks making fun of a perfectly legitimate moral reason for refusing to share that tutorial that makes these anons look butthurt and confused that 4chan didn't bend over backwards to give them what they want.

I modified the pattern off that Simple Bear pattern (http://www.eldrbarry.net/im/meg/simpbear.pdf)) and basically made the head and belly bigger and the arms, legs, and torso shorter and smaller. Sorry, Anon, this is the closest thing I have to a "pattern" in my millinery book for a wide brimmed hat; It doesn't have a set tutorial to it since the book is broken into chapters/assumes you have patterning experience.

I'll do a little more searching for a more thorough tutorial or pattern you can work off of, though! These hats are all about having a solid interfacing and using wire to create the shapes of them, especially since the brims are cut asymmetrically.
