This picture confuses me greatly. Is it two dresses sewn together? Is there a big gaping hole where the zipper is? Is she just so short to the point where she can look like that and still be within the measurements? I'm smallish (88/74) and a lot of Size 2 JetJ still just doesn't fit/sit right.

She might be cute but the color balance on this is so off. Too many colors going on. A tricolor coord is fine, but she needs to make sure the colors match better so it actually looks cohesive as tricolors, not random. That said, to really have made this work as tricolor, I think her colors should have been blue, white, and lavender, and not the pink. That's what's most jarring.

It's a full shirred JSK Anons. I also have it, though I'm not as big as that I'm still a fatty and it fits pretty well on nearly every bigger bodytype. The real challenge is coording it well and she totally failed that.

Ah no that is not me! And a close friend of mine did the shoes for me! I think she painted them and added a few accessories. I don't typically like pointed toe shoes because they crunch my toes badly but I loved the effect these gave. I'm hoping if I can get the other color ways of this dress they will work. I really miss the old aatp. Prints like Queen's Coach or Midsummer Night's Dream or Misty Night Royal Game. With illustrations or patterns in colours that compliment each other and not just a brown, washed-out soup of pseudo-photorealistic mess

I can agree that the added length looks better on this, but I don't agree that this particular idea for it looks at all good. If she were to add an underskirt, it would have to be something solid, maybe like a pleated longer skirt or a-line. There isn't anything frilly about that dress, so adding a ruffly underskirt would look really awkward, imo. I know there was that one girl with the blue one who tried that, and it looked like absolute shit to me; like she just threw it on over an ill-fitting petticoat. You sort of have to match the styles up, so non-frilly underskirt would be the way to go; not something ruffly or god forbid, just a damn petti.

Agreed. Queen's Coach made me fall in love with AatP because of their approach to Classic Sweet, but now it feels like they are copying the worst aspects of IW's flat prints and JetJ's slap some art on fabric.

Hell, AP is doing Classic Sweet better at this point. British Bear and Chess Emblem are awesome design wise.

It comes down to better shirts either way. She needs a toned down lolita blouse or a lolita cutsew. These blouses could have been saved if they had bow or lace details at the neckline, but they're entirely too plain. I won't deny she's improved but honestly it only seems like its just the dress and the matching socks that help a lot, which isn't hard. She has gold shoes that match which is good too, but the rest looks like she's still shifting through the thrift store for loliable items. The blouse looks way too normie and that headbow is ugly. And she still is having trouble with her hair and using makeup to make her face look.... less uncomfortable.

Hasn't she been into lolita for a good amount of time too? If her progress is this slow, that's pretty depressing.
