Alright, have some tips from me.

- That weird voice over thing at the start is so weird, don't do that.
- Never say living doll and lolita interchangeably. Living Doll is closer to dolly-kei, also that ridiculous reality show. Just don't do it.
- That first outfit isn't even lolita??? If you're starting a video CALLED lolita wardrobe, make sure your clothing items clearly are lolita. You must be very new to this fashion to think that is acceptable.
- What the fuck are you doing with that pillow, don't do that. You're trying too hard to be quirky.
- Weeb music, opt for something classical or instrumental that isn't obviously a game/show soundtrack.
- Learn about seagull and 4chan culture before posting here. You've earned yourself a spot on every cringe thread for a while to come.

I do know how hard it is to start a YouTube channel and gain a following. Just do something you know a lot about, I'm sure you'll find something fun and interesting!

thank you for the constructive advice. i am quite new to the internet in general, particularly these types of sites, so i suppose i mistook cgl for another lolita forum to share something i created. i understand how the words 'living doll' might set some people off, however i do try to match my makeup and outfits to those of a victorian doll, not necessarily valeria lukyanova or kotakoti etc, but something a little different.

i wasn't 'trying' to be quirky - i wanted to make the video more entertaining than a boring walkthrough of my outfits. i did the voice-over because the microphone on my phone wasn't working for video (does anyone have tips for fixing that?). i picked that music because i have loved rozen maiden since i was very young, and i believe it has a very pleasant ost.

all in all though, i most agree with you on one point: posting on here was perhaps a mistake. i had no idea that people were so genuinely nasty and ugly-hearted. however i don't regret posting here, as we all need a wake-up call every once in a while, and i'm glad that i have the confidence to be myself despite people taking out there insecurities on me.
