Once you matte your wig to a certain point it's ruined. If conditioning and combing isn't working, throw it away and buy a new wig. Also

>notted
>extreamly
You must be 18 or over to use this board.

Didnt know that my spelling defined my age but thanks I guess

congratulations, you've played yourself

This didn't deserve its own thread, there are help threads specifically for the purpose of these sorts of questions. I'm sure a Google search could've helped too.

Also you're absolutely right. Spelling doesn't define your age. But that with your inability to follow obvious rules certainly defines your incompetence.

Long wigs dont have a super great life expectancy. It may be time to call it quits and get a new one.

The key is less detangling after it becomes an abomination, and more prevention. Be super careful with it when in storage, and same with wearing it, lightly brush it out. A way to save some long curly wigs is to straighten then, then brush them out, and then re curl them, but thats a lot of effort and your wig may be beyond salvage.

Not everyone on this board is a native English speaker, anon

That being said, you should probably go to the help thread for this, OP.

Not the OP, but could we just make this a generic wig help thread?

How do I get a wig this thick? I assume buying two Arda wigs and layering them would work? What style would be best for this?

I was going to go with an Orange Sherbert as the base, and dying it with the RIT or Sharpie methods. Arda doesn't seem to have an orange that works for the lower half.

rufflebutt has a good tutorial on combining two wigs into one, which really ups the thickness.
