How do I get a cosplay gf?

No wait don't sage and report I'm serious.

I have a fantasy of doing cosplay, but I dont a single person who's into it. All the girls I'm friends/in relationships with are club sluts and basic bitches.
I have no Idea where to meet people who do cosplay and have some fantasy of finding a girl who will force me to dress up in costumes she makes and parade with her at conventions.

I have a real /fit/ body and I think I could cosplay well but I just have no idea how to get into, now do I have any ability to create a costume on my own.

Should I go to conventions and try to pick up girls? Will most of them already be in relationships?
