I really like the way this artist draws Undyne's teeth, and I was wondering if you guys thought this would translate well into a cosplay. Like a mold or prosthetic teeth that looked like those. Or would it not work on an actual person?

Contacts never show up well in pics and photogs usually edit eyes to correct them/bring out color (not to mention from experience that circle lenses slip and make you look crosseyed if you don't check up on them frequently). Focusing on makeup would give you a better look than anything else. I'm not saying paint your lids black so they look like eyes when you have them closed, but good, defining makeup will do more for the look than anything in your eyes.

I've always had them look better in photos than in person, did a lot for my face and never had the cross-eyed situation. But getting off-topic, I think black circle lenses will give a kind of creepy bug-eyed look that would suit Muffet.

Hopebiscuit is awful lmao

He doesn't know how to draw anything other than sexy girls and his humanizations of the Undertale characters are so far from canon I doubt he's done more than just look at the first google image result of the character and then draw a sexy version of it.

That being said, I think it would be neat if a Flowey gijinka included some nods to either Asriel or Flowey's final form. Like his sleeves are long and loose around his hands to mimic the thorn hands from his final form.

A Fucking month and nothing was done, they wanted to just mail it to me, I own no sewing machine and no skill, hence, the commission

I had to fight for my refund. It was just a simple mascot Napstablook thing, which pissed me off.

If they put in like 15 minutes a night, it would have been finished. It obviously wasn't a priority for them though. So I'm sad now.

He's definitely orange. A red more than yellow toned orange, but still orange.

Pic related is the shittiest eBay costume ever, but is that not in the spirit of Temmie? I'd style the wig better and dye/paint/sew the yellow stripes, because finding a dress in her colours is proving impossible. Pom poms are for her second ears and I'd like to make a box of temmie flakes too.

it looks good, anon! my only suggestions would be to buy a blue dress and fabric paint the stripes on, sew yellow stripes on, or something similar. also, go with a darker color for the wig- something like pic related from cosplaydna (ive ordered from them a lot, and always are happy with the wigs) would be a lot more accurate to temmie's color hair!

The bottom left wig in this one was my second choice because I don't like the curls but I think the colour's the closest I'm going to get. I actually really like bottom right is really nice but the colour's not right. I'm planning on making Mettaton Neo in the future, but can't decide on what to do for the make up.
Obviously the one part of the face blacked out, metal plating on the cheek, but lost on what to do with the eyeliner/make-up and lips.
I know Mettaton Ex is supposed to be pretty boy but what about Neo?

i would still do pretty glam-styled makeup, but make it harsher, i guess. dont do the weird two toned lipstick everyone is doing, and maybe eyebrows that look a bit harsher. since its still mettaton, i think he'd still have eyeliner and a generally feminine appearance, but wouldnt look as lighthearted and fun, if that makes any sense

I'm working on a partial suit for Alphys. Head, tail, paws and feet. But I can't figure out how to translate her head spikes.

Is it a frill like bearded dragon, or spikes down the back like say, Godzilla.

How is this for a Smiley costume? The colour is quite similar, but I'm not sure on the texture. This is just pure cotton, because I've heard bad things about jerseys for this sort of thing.

Now this can include people who watched an LP and then bought the game, but it was still an overwhelming amount compared to most games.

I think anon a lot of gamers today are just bad at video games. I got my 14 year old cousin to play undertale, he enjoyed it but anytime he was having difficulty he just asked what to do instead of trying himself. He couldn't figure out the X/O puzzle so he just kept talking to papyrus until papyrus said to push the switch in the tree to automatically solve it. He kept dying to papyrus' fight until papyrus offered not even to fight him anymore because he kept dying and was like "ok". Just really simple things... but he didn't think about them at all, just played and assumed it would hold his hand and let him play it with no effort on his part.
I notice that a lot of the younger generation is this way. That's why, despite the easiness of the game, they would rather watch a lets play. Because they are too lazy to play it themselves and put in the effort required to progress. I also think that's why tons of games nowadays have tutorial stages as the first stage, because developers know people won't try to figure it out themselves and if they don't know what to do immediately they won't play it.

A game doesn't have to be hard to be enjoyable. If you want that kind of challenge go play Darksouls or something. This game is more about the characters and the story unravelling than overcoming a difficult challenge, hell the final bossfight literally ressurects you on the spot if you die. The Genocide fights with Undyne and Sans are rather difficult, and honestly the hardest part of the game for me was deciding who to save in TruePacifist because I thought I could only rescue one.

I hope this is an OK place to ask, if not I'll go to the help thread.

So I'm planning on cosplaying Chara and after seeing this piece of fanart I was inspired to make a Flowey to have wrapped around my arm and possibly around my neck like in the photos. However, I'm not entirely sure how to do it? I was thinking of going for a plushie route and putting wire in the vine portion to be able to bend it into wrapping around my arm at least. Is this a good idea or is there something better I could do? Is it just a dumb idea to begin with?

I also would avoid doing a straight black lipstick if your base colour for the rest of the face is white. It gets into mime territory, and looks kind of strange. I like to do a gray with a black/darker gray lipliner blended in, and then hit with some shimmer. You could get away with a black lip if you added some depth to it so it wasn't just a solid black.

In Undertale you can't actually lose the first 2 boss fights and then after that you can access the best armor in the game if you grind for money a bit by selling cloudy glasses to Tem shop. I don't personally know anyone who had to do this though. Even my friend who has messed up reflexes and a shitty keyboard was able to beat the game. It's not that hard, it just takes a bit of pattern memorization if you suck at some parts and stock up on some good healing items.

I actually don't care if people play it themselves or watch a lets play (though I do think playing it is a better experience) but seriously this game is not hard. IT's designed to be very easy and forgiving with the exception of genocide mode.

I can get the blood from a) the shots from genocide where before they die there's a red strike across their character? and b) Sans' death. Maybe monsters bleed when they're injured but turn to dust when dead, but then again being made of magic as opposed to water maybe some do and some don't? But it's still a lazy-ass Chara.

No one will care siginficantly and dodgy-arms, especially two extra sets, will just make a fantastic cosplay into messy garbage.

While I imagine that amazingly well done arms will be obviously amazing, but that is mostly due to the factor of "Wow, I thought it would be impossible to make that hot mess of an idea look good." Considering the scale of Muffet I can't see any way possible for somone to harness TWO sets of extra arms without it looking wierd and rigid as fuck.

It's one thing for a Muffet cosplay to be shit because of the arms or choice of makeup, but can't people at least put enough effort in to make the rest of the costume look nice? I have yet to find a decent one. The only one I found that was good she was naked and heavily photoshopped, so it doesn't even count.

Finally started working on my shit. Nothing is sealed or heat formed yet so it looks wierdly flat. I've got to go out and get some plastidip tomorrow so I can progress.
How do my shapes/proportions look, at least? The mirror sheet peels, so it's gonna look nice and shiny and reflect the glow of the heart.

Agreed,both those Neos painted their face and put a full light on top.
I'm working on Neo and I'm going to be using worbla/foam with the star shape cut out of it then put a EL panel under it.I'll probably cover it with wire too for a better "incomplete" look
