Not sure if this counts because this didn't make it into the actual movie, but Honey Lemon from Disney's Big Hero Six was originally supposed to be some sort of ganguro/gyaru/ita concoction. Here's some original concept art of her.Kind of wish this version made it into the film....

OP here, I spelt it incorrectly - it's Otocadoll, not Otocodoll (オトカドール in moonrunes).

It's a rhythm arcade game with a mahou shoujo twist. Similar to the Aikatsu arcade game. It's fairly young - it launched earlier this year.

Character designs are cute and the songs are nice.
