If it's something like Mozarabic Chant, which IIRC comes with a cloth belt, absolutely. If it's a leather belt, absolutely not. And I think they have this idea that a belt or waist ties should be strained to their breaking point to make the skirt fluff out more and 'give them a better waist', which is, of course, bullshit. Wow, cheap velvet! I hadn't seen an ita mess like that made with anything other than the standard transparent cotton or luminescent satin. It's pretty impressive, like I can understand where they were coming from with the corseting (corsets=lolita) and the lace, of course, but the stained plywood/painted cardboard belt thing and the velvety crap are completely new. I wonder what it looks like in narutal light, it looks like it might be gold. I also have a feeling there might be old glitter hiding in there. Where did you find this?
