It is a pretty large bag and the veil does spread out a bit awkwardly I guess, but I feel like these are pretty small nitpicks. I think they fit with the coord overall and it's not a bad one.

The shoes being a different shinier gold from the rest of the accessories/dress bugs me more. They stick out like a sore thumb anytime I see them though, BL's gold PU doesn't match any other gold ever used in finish.

Does anyone find it weird that there's been a trend with people posting on CoF with outfits they've been assigned to model for brand fashion shows? [Pic related] I think it's one thing if someone hands you a dress and let's you put together your own look, but in most cases the coordinates have been assembled by a professional designer or stylist. Does this defeat the purpose of CoF?

I should say I'm not even bothered by things like that post a couple of weeks ago where someone dressed up their little sister and posted the photo on CoF. It was still a coordinate designed by a casual member of the community who had to go out and gather all of the components.

I guess for some reason it just rubs me the wrong way with the brand fashion show models posting on CoF, as though they're taking credit for the coordinate even though they didn't put those things together or even acquire the items on their own.

Why can't it be both, though? As long as someone is honest about it, I would like seeing more backstage-type photos from brand fashion shows and photo shoots. It's still interesting to see the way the models are styled and having the model speak directly about what she's wearing is usually a lot more informative than you'll see or hear in official material. Also, brands tend to be more experimental or OTT with coordinates when they're styling them for shows and photoshoots, which I wouldn't really say puts them on a "higher level" than the amateur coords posted on CoF, just different (and often refreshing).

The outfit would have been fine had the socks either came up over her knees, or were around crew sock length and had a small ruffle or scalloped trim at the top.
The length they're at now is ugly and makes them look like dress socks middle age men wear.

I was at the event and it wasn't a strictly AP event.

It was an AP/Harajuku Hearts event. Half didn't even wear AP/HH as long as it wasn't cosplay or a replica it was within the dress code.
