My baby would always help me, but she passed away last November. Just thinking about her is making cry a little, but out of my other cats, Anastasia was the one who would play with the string the most, lay on the fabric while I was trying to cut it, accidentally stepped on my power cord button on the extension when I was sewing one time. She was the absolute best helper I could ever ask for.

Sometimes my neighbor's cat comes in my house through an open window and startles the living shit out of me. She's super quiet but friendly so suddenly you feel this soft brush against your leg and since I don't have any pets of my own right now I freak out almost every time. Since I work on sewing from home during the day by myself she startles me all the time. She most recently dropped by when I was working on this cape... she scared my friend instead of me this time hahaha. Sneaky little bastard <3

Which is why I always warn people my items come from a pet friendly home. If they're warned, then it's their decision.

My current helper, Sylvanas. She likes to lay in my lap while I try and cut things out. Not usually allowed in my sewing room, but she'll come down and banshee scream at me if I'm late with her dinner. So. (she also thinks that my photo light box is a great bed)

This Lil lady usually hangs out with me while I sew. Usually just napping away in a comfy spot somewhere nearby. Though the place we're staying at, she has to hang outside during the day.

This is Charles. He's an absolute snuggle bug. When I adopted him I found out he was bottle fed. He has to be involved in anything that might mean attention. He's a little broken though. He's fallen off of the couch, run into walls, and tears up my patterns if he so chooses to. I also take him outside for walks with my other cat. He would marry the outdoors if he could.

This is my other cat akiko. She's going on 7. Her and Charles play fight alot. They can't be in separate rooms w/o each other. I've had them run into my sewing room and run right over the stuff I'm pinnjng together. Akiko is called 'queen' as she clearly rules the roost. She can pin Charles down easily. She's really good about helping by sitting there and just watching me. It's only when Charles antagonizes her that it usually causes an issue.

Not a cosplayer, really, but my cat Luna is obsessed with petticoats and lolita. She always tries to lie on them, and the sound of swishing petticoats/dresses sends her running into my bedroom.
I keep her away from my clothing easily enough, but wardrobe posts will be a pain.

My dog herds my cosplay friends when they come over for workshop weekends, and her favourite toy is a fleece rope made from costume mockup leftovers. She's also an occasional cosplayer.

Lately she's been dragging a pink string around the house from a previous cosplay whenever I decide to start working on cosplay. She gets my fabric hairy and she meows so damn much (only when I'm working) but I can't stay mad.

This is my kitty. He decided I wasn't paying enough attention to him and put his way in while I'm working.
I think he knows I'm super sad and is trying to tell me he loves me.
He looks a bit messy because I picked him up from the vet yesterday, he was on a 24hr Liquid only diet and IV flush, still has his purple bandaid on, and an ultrasound.
Turns out, he has Polycystic Kidney disease, which can happen to Himalayans, just unlucky genes. They are cysts that grow in the kidneys, uncureable. He also has a small heart murmur.

Regardless of that he still seems pretty lively and healthy, hopefully he still has a few more years left in him, now he's on medication.
It's just hard to think about him leaving, his been with me for 12 years now. I'm just happy he's lived a good life, he knows he's loved and that I hope I can make the best memories with time I've got left with him.
Sorry for the long Dn'M, still quite upset.

I really want to get a super fancy crown printed dress to take photos with the corgi but I may do it in my Spica Royal Crown because I'm impatient and I'd rather get dog hair on taobao.

This is my full-tailed corgi -- usually they're docked or something but it's illegal here and nothing's cuter than a waggy tail.

I don't have a picture of him in the act, but here is my lil fluffernut. His name is Amuro and he like pulling on plugs, unraveling my crochet stitches, and getting his long black fur all over all my cosplays and pretty dresses. I wouldn't have it any other way.

P.s. he's in my boyfriend's lap here, thank jesus those fuzzy knee caps aren't mine haha.
