this is pretty much the most basic bitch thing you can do. most, if not all, league cosplayers I know judge so hard when they see people only do one tail, especially when combined with something as basic bitch as popstar or original ahri, since they haev some of the easiest designs to make (when compared to other champions). No one will say anything to your face, but those skins + one tail immediately labels you as a basic bitch. There's a dozen tutorials on how to make ahri tails, just a quick google search should bring them up.

As you can see by some of the replies, it's a sore subject. As an Ahri cosplayer debuting Pop Star quite soon myself, I think it's fine to do the one big tail. A lot of other Ahri's I know do it to save their back because the harnesses hurt like a BITCH. I personally think it's cute to have the running animation tail. As for harness tips, the one I'm making right now is a small metal grate secured with belts at the top, bottom, and sometimes middle if I need extra support. The skeleton of each tail is made of wire, doubled over to make kind of a thin arch shape. This way I can bend my tails however I need to. I'll be stuffing my tails and just plopping them on there to wear them.

It won't actually be that hard to do decent looking tails. I made pretty thin but long tails, put some wire in to create illusion of movement, glued and taped end of the wires to two cardboard pieces. My harness was basically just two big elastic bands which went over my stomach. It didn't feel uncomfortable and it was easy to move around too. And my tails bounced really nicely when I was walking because of the elastic bands.

I'm inclined to agree with anon on this one.

I understand that there are always inconsistencies with art, but with her champion name, splash art and in game skin all making it very clear she has *9* tails, I completely understand where anon is coming from.

Also, I know the cinematic is riot approved/sponsored/whatever, but I feel like the artist took some artist liberties to make it look like 1 tail, since it looks better that way, visually speaking.

I think both sides are valid, but more just points towards it's 9 tails with no intention of there ever being *only* 1 at any time.
