Some darker eye makeup and contouring may help, too.I'm also a round faced aristo, and those are pretty much my lifeline. It may be hard to do dark makeup with hooded eyes, but it'll bring your face and head into the rest of the coord.

Thanks for the advice anon. I wasn't aware I was standing bow legged. I am trying to work on my posture, I have mild scoliosis and a few other slight spine problems. I'll definetly do my best to correct my posture in photos and work on improving it.

that looks more aristo to me due to the hair styling and the general details/construction of the garment.

victorian goth directly influenced gothic lolita and aristocrat so there is some overlap. however, makeup and hairstyling and garment construction/details can help differentiate. pic related is obviously victorian goth: sexy bodice, gothic makeup and hair, and fabric whose shine is remniscent of fetishwear.

others are less easy to categorize, and i think that is fine. ultimately it may be about whether the influence is more the Western Goth or Eastern Lolita scene; Eastern Goth also exists and has its own neo-victorian look (lots of alice auaa, yosuke boots, etc.). if the styling cannot be pinpointed in a category it might be a "it is what you make if it" type of deal.
