Where are the times when you just crafted for fun or made art for fun?

Why do people think it's okay to sell "art" that's only taken them a few seconds?

"Hi guys, I'm not normally an artist on here but I've been trying to do just basic stuff, so anyways I'm in need of money desperately, my laptop has started having problems and well I'm doing sketches of fursona's I've done freebies for a couple of people but now I'm doing my "Trial Commissions" by this is that I'm going to open 3 slots for fursona art, prices start from 2.00GBP.
The fursona will be traditional art, hand drawn, Proper A4 paper that can be sent to you (Residental Address Required to be sent). My Price guide is below. So would anyone like to be my first commission?

Have you tried any actual japanese/chinese brands? Especially those that deal in gothic and punk. Since eyepatches at least used to be a big trend, I'm sure you could find some quality ones. Maybe not the uber-kawaii pastel ones that decora girls wear (which are mostly handmade), but maybe some classier, simple designs.

Pretty Cure is fine, anon. Quite cool in fact - gotta love magical girls beating monsters up with their fists. Madoka doesn't really even count as a traditional mahou shoujo since it's a subversion of most of the tropes and aimed at men, rather than young women/girls. It's enjoyable but wouldn't be my first recommendation to someone who wants more of the genre.

Agreed. Also try some older MG series to understand the roots of the genre. My favorites are Creamy Mami and Akazukin ChaCha. I'd say stay clear at some of the ones more targeted towards men. Magical Girls Club is cute as well.
