Wigs like this one, or split wigs. Its pretty common but you see them often in otherwise perfectly decent coords. You also see them in horrible coords but that's a given.

I've come to really hate split wigs (particularly unnaturally colored or pastel ones). I feel like the only people who wear them now are newbies trying to do their first OTT coord thinking that their hair color has to match their outfit exactly, and they usually get those awful GLW twin tail monsters.

There are some times when they look okay (not the GLW ones but split wigs in general), but more often than not they look silly.

Thanks! I do it myself and I don't think there are any resources about that I know of. I can sew and understand garment construction so I just made it up as I went along. I'd like to do a guide at some point but I'm too busy at the moment - hopefully I can do one soon!
