I'm actually trying to clean and redecorate at the moment so inspiration would be handy

Getting a newer bigger room somepoint next year and need some ideas on how to decorate, what are some cute bright room themes and must have furniture for a big room? I've only had a small room so I've been limited to the nessecities, i've only found a mirror small emough to fit in practically this year! I'm definitely planning on having a kotatsu and figure out where to put a cute reading nook. Any cute ideas for big rooms?

I'm moving to my own place in a couple weeks and I'm looking for some cute (but sturdy/reliable) shelves, tables, and such.

they let you paint, hang, etc as long as you paint it white again and fill holes at the end of the year haha. most people end up leaving walls white because painting it back is a pain in the ass. last year I stayed in the new "industrial style" dorm that has terrible cinder block walls but the one I'm staying in this year is an actual apartment building so it feels like a home and not a prison, thank god

this could actually be pretty elegant if the chandelier was swapped out for something nicer (or at least change the harsh bulbs!) and the walls painted a darker color.

I would also swap out some of those wall hangings. those purple roses are seriously ugly. but I guess that's just a matter of personal taste.
