The biggest issue is that they allowed multiple purchases of this obviously popular item. That's basically guaranteeing scalpers, especially in the west where we just get greedy bitches.
They also did an in-store reservation over the weekend, so I imagine a lot of stock went then.

well, the main reason all this happened was because it was a LP and not an actually reservation or stock update for a real release. I feel like it wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't an LP.

anyways, restock? doubtful. they said on the page there's only a limited number of lucky packs.

I'm thinking that hopefully for the people who didn't get one, the secondhand prices shouldn't be too bad since this is a second release. someone the other day on yja or mbok was selling a full TJ set for 28000 yen.

I got linked to an auction in the other thread so I have hope restored! The lolidesu link is a JSK, and I really wanted the OP. There's something just so pretty about the old OP's cut that I adore. As for the rerelease, again the OP was my choice because it'd fit me best. I also loved the rerelease color choices for the black. The light pack is back in stock. I think the skirt packs only went fast because a lot of people threw one in when they were ordering TJ anyway.


After anons said everything was sold out I actually saw a few colourways become available again, but when I tried adding a pink jsk to my cart part of the description said "SOLD OUT" so I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not (I didn't check out as I don't want the pink jsk). It seems like Meta's site might be having glitches in this release and they may have to sit down and sort through whose orders got through and whose didn't.

Personally I'm really hoping it's not as popular on the Japanese market as it is over here and they restock the site.

Historically, meta skirt LPs sell pretty quickly, its been a while since they did a skirt LP like this (I don't remember if they did one last winter). They seemed to get burned on the special set packs in the past few times. They need to go back to the old style LP where they actually clear out old stock but maybe they simply don't have enough stock left over for them? Who knows.

I used a shopping service and got a pink JSK pack in the longer length but the longer I look at the photos the less I become convinced this super sweet dress is going to fit in with my quickly becoming completely gothic tastes (and I really needed more basic items, not another JSK).

That's extremely sweet of you, but my heart is set on the black OP or colorway, followed by blue in the new colorways (If it were the classic colors, my preference was navy, black, then bordeaux. And I prefer all of the old colors/cuts to the newer ones even though I really do love them all). I'm also short so I think the longer length would sit very oddly on me. I know about the lolitadesu jsk but I'm still not quite over the OP just yet.

I feel better having slept a bit, and I'm currently watching an auction for the original OP so maybe missing these turned out for better! But if all turns out crummy and you're looking to sell, I might warm up to the pink more by then.
