I love corsets and I love j-fashions, so I'd love to see corsets incorporated into j-fash coords!
I'm mainly interested in gothic lolita and shironuri but any style goes! I love pulling inspiration from every different fashion. Show me what you got!

These Excentrique corsets look amazing. I'm sort of skirting away from lolita into more normal j-fashion and want to incorporate things like this into my wardrobe.

Can anyone recommend some other brands outside Excentrique for really high quality ones? I'm going to order one from Antique Beast soon and maybe a Moitie one. Are those brands pretty good quality for corsets? Or are there other brands that are better?

Ozz On, specifically the Ozz Angelo line, might be up your alley. They do bustiers (no boning or only light boning, relying on stiff structure and interfacing) pretty often, rather than actual corsets.

Sheglit and Enchantilly both do corset "belts" as well in different styles. With and without bustles.

Antique Beast and Moitie do bustiers (plastic boning, not made for waist reduction) rather than corsets iirc. I don't know any Japanese corset brands but would recommend you check out lucycorsetry for general corset information/western brand recommendations

Years ago I bought some fabric hoping to get into making classic indie lolita dresses, but life happened.

Now I've been digging into that stash making girlie corsets. I wonder if there's much interest or market in making loliable corsets, sort of spinning them as underwear to help lolis look better in/fit into their burando.

I'm tempted to make some closed front waist clinchers, more like wide belts to wear over dresses, which bring in the waist.
Going to make a black short pile velvet one first, then some others.

Any pictures of waist-trained Lolitas? Corsets on the outside don't look quite right outside of really gothic stuff, especially since the corsets are often too long to wear on the outside with a skirt/dress that has any amount of poof.

The picture I posted is the back of the one I'm finishing but I can post it completed once I'm done! I'm still considering whether or not to add trimming or lace to the top and bottom edges.

I'm not sure if there's a market for loliable corsets but it could be interesting! Maybe if worn as underwear it could get quite some attention.


Also leaving a general reminder that this is a corsets in ANY jfashion, so even if you dislike corsets with lolita, there's plenty more fashions you can post and discuss!

How would you know though? Most people who wear it as underwear arent advertising it. While it is clear someone is wearing shapewear at times, you wont know if it is a corset, or shoop on just a picture. As for the length, you can usually avoid that with cinchers, or getting a corset that isnt as low on the hips.

Corsetry isnt dangerous as long as you get a corset that fits you, and dont try to tighten it too fast. Issues that I have seen are usually on the part of the person fucking it up. Corsets have been found to be something where people with some medical issues (usually back or spine) have great use for. As always, do go and talk to a doctor first before getting into anything, we cant tell you if it is okay for you personally. I would say that with corsets the displacement itself solves that kind of issue.
