Are the rectangle headdresses from Bodyline good? I've seen reviews that say they're nice but I'm not sure of the reviewer's quality knowledge.

I have four of them and love them, personally. They're not as huge as I thought they were, but aren't the skinny newer style either. The lace is quality, as is the stitching. The bows are grosgrain ribbon which is fine for old school but some people don't like that.
And uh....the tie for your chin is a satin ribbon but it isn't bad either.

I'm happy with them.

I've never worn a headdress before but I like the way they look on other people. I'm afraid they might look too big on me, I have fine and thin hair. Maybe trying a Bodyline one would be good, I assume they aren't that expensive.

I love modern lolita looks too but I'll never not have a soft spot for the 'not for anyone's approval but my own' aspect of early lolita fashion. It seemed so badass back then.

another question: I want to eventually begin selling handmade accessories and one of the things I'd like to offer is rectangle headpieces. I know Kanon Wakeshima moved on to pop stuff, but are there any artists with a similar sound/theme? Shinshoku Dolce and Lolitawork Libretto have some sort of magical sound that brings out something I can't really put into words. Western artists are fine, but I can't find anything quite similar.

I actually like casual poof for daily wear situations, probably because I'm a practical person, and like oldschool gothic and oldschool sweet equally. However I agree some of her outfits were a bit me, but realistic for a daily Lolita and I still think they're cute enough.

I'm wearing cute clunky lolita shows with an otherwise tame but girly preppy outfit to campus today and I feel fierce as hell. I keep seeing other girls do double-takes at my shoes and I'm pretty sure most people think they're fugly but idgaf. My supervisor's assistant (who is a big viking-looking dude with a long ponytail and beard) told me he really liked them.
It may be ita but I think I'm going to start incorporating more lolita elements in my everyday campus wardrobe. I don't want to be all decked out when I'm just going to sit in the library all day but something like shoes, an oldschool lace skirt or maybe a headdress should be doable. The only other lolita I've spotted around here is a big ol' Milanoo ita and most students are terribly dressed anyway so I'm not too worried about judgement.
