As someone who's attempted (and failed) to make the suit, I can tell you that the biggest reason is because Samus' proportions make no sense on an actual person. I'm sure it's been said a hundred times but her shoulders would actually be dislocated to fit in those shoulders/arms; and when making them, the chestpiece needs to be smaller to allow arm movement. It's a really bizarre thing to translate to reality and never looks exactly right.

I like this one for overall effect, but the neckline is too wide and the armor is a bit sloppy. I do really like the pauldrons, and the paint job is nice, but the proportions on the tiara are a bit screwy and the baubles on the belt look pretty sad.

Personal opinion, but I think that vinyl or foam that you glaze to make it look shiny would look good
I mean, in the game, it acts like hair (as in it sits on top of the head) but it really is tentacles and their octopus skin I guess?
So wigs really feel weird to me
(Disclaimer: Im a pretty shitty cosplayer and I haven't done much research in the area, this was just something I was pondering over a few days ago)

I like starfox games but I don't want to do a rule 63 gejinka of starfox so I thought crystal would make more sense. Plus her outfit is cute and I've never seen it done.
