These feelings, I went to Dragon Con and did a photo shoot then I FINALLY found the girl he was with and asked about his page. I found the page only to see the last thing uploaded was a year ago (longer now) and that he was being deployed. Now, I'm not mad at him for being deployed, I'm mad because he said nothing at the con about this. Apperantly from the girl (one of his close friends) she said he planned this as one of the last cons he'd be at for a while so he knew ahead of time he was going. I once attended a group of a very popular series as my favourite character that every fan happened to hate. I got so much shit during the day and I was pretty miserable as my friends had a lot of fun with everyone who got excited about their characters and had their photographs taken. Just before I was going to take off the cosplay that I had worked my ass off to make because I decided it's not worth it, someone approached me for a photo and told me how much they loved my character and didn't understand why everyone hates them so much. I almost cried and that was one of the best things that ever has happened to me at a convention.
