Original contributor of Angel of Music deets. I do agree with you guys, but then again, the faces are pretty small irl. You wouldn't be able to tell they were done anime/manga-style unless if you were to inspect the print up close. The print is still beautiful nonetheless though. The reds and golds are so vibrant. The pictures don't do it justice.

I agree. I think it's because it's not stylized enough? Like >>8309254 said, they look like manga characters taken out of the context of their panel rather than figures whose design is integrated as a part of the print... if that makes sense. It's a shame because there's a lot of Haenuli prints, including Phantom, that I really like but the figures ruin it for me. (Though it doesn't really help that her enormous torsos will never fit my tiny 5' self, either.)

The wonky anatomy may be because I didn't take these pictures with the dress lying completely flat. To be honest, I took these print detail pics while I was trying on the dress for the first time.
