He was behind the recent fracas with Amy King.

I've witnessed conversations break down into retardation because people have gotten too drunk. This kind of thread breaking down is far too similar, only its sheer stupidity instead of the crutch of a socially acceptable drug.

Just makes me wonder how this thread's going to go.

Don't forget the make the lenses opaque. That's actually a very important part for cosplaying any gas-masked character. There's some neutral lenses out there you could use, but you could also glue some crappy ones from ebay to the inside. It's a GP-5, so that's what I'd do.

The only people letting it happen are the people posting in them. I like the generals; we obviously have enough happening and drama going on to fuel these threads to the point of going 50 posts past the bump limit and we're almost at 50 posts again. If you don't like them, don't post in them.

Amy King's drama was the foundation keeping the last thread standing. It was beautiful. She's shown us that she has some real underlying animosity towards the five people she mentioned by name and we've yet to delve deeper into it.

Also

>calling someone horrible at cosplay, they're dense, saying they've an ugly face and reposting their old Bebo pictures is acceptable but telling her you wouldn't mind her sitting on your face for a minute or two is abhorrent and disgusting

I think you need your priorities straight lads

>> No.8274798

It is going a bit too far lads. I like the lols as much as any of you but I dont want to slag someone to the point of a breakdown. Unless something new to be said about Amy lets leave it. She's a terrible cosplayer but not the worst person on the con scene and hardly deserving of the lashing she's getting.

Besides there are other lols to be had! Have people been looking at the amazingly named Irish Cosplay con? The cosplay prize seems pretty good! I do like the concept of the con but just not the people running it. Thoughts?

>> No.8274868

Assuming that was her, I don't know why she gave my initials out as I barely interact with the threads these days. She defriended/blocked me a little while back without explanation so I guess she must have been paranoid about me for a while.

I just don't know why she'd think I was one of the trolls when I've always been pretty quick to defend her, being in much the same boat myself.
