Different anon, but the JSK is extremely cheap, especially the bow area and her hair looks pretty bad. The tights combined with ankle socks are also ugly, but that's more of a taste thing. It's not worthy of being in an ita thread, but it's far from being a great coord.

Jack's suit has pin stripes on it, which I think is lost with the use of a damask pattern like this, and then you probable couldn't pair stripes with those socks, so it would need tweaking.

However, as the other anons said this would make a good haunted mansion coord because of that pattern on the dress.

OK I have an issue, I cosplay and lolita, but I keep them separate normally.
But I've now done 3 costumes of Chii, because I love her style and I kinda want to do a photoshoot of her in gothic or classic lolita.

I think this is kind of cute? But definitely is starting to look more costume-y than inspired. I think it would've been nicer if instead of using actual opera gloves, if she just wore shorter ones instead. And yes cindy wears an updo but maybe a hime-type wig with a little tiara would've worked out better? Like, a more hime theme in general.

I don't think this coord is entirely bad but I can see why people would think it looks tacky/cheaper.

Really depends on the suit, I guess. A lot of the main suits with the white-red-blue-green coloscheme would probably just end up looking like OP or otherwise a bit garish for lolita, but sidesuits with less bright colorschemes could certainly work. I'd think it'd be difficult for some suits with less distinctive motifs to get what they're supposed to be though. Tackier suits like Deathscythe might be easy to get across with gothic elements, a batwing backpack/purse and the like; an all red coord for Char's Zaku would be pretty straightforward.

A mecha musume lolita would be pretty cool.

The Ghostrick archetype in Yugioh has a few outfits I think would make for lovely inspired-by coords, starting with Dorklord here. Nekomusume could be a potentionally cute wa lolita coord sans cat ears, and Doll legitimately reminds me of some dress/bonnet set, though I don't know the name. I suppose Witch and Yuki Onna's outfits could be more of a stretch, but still make more loosely inspired-by outfits.
