For essential pieces like blouses, I really suggest bunny house. I bought a blouse and a bolero from them and I love it. It's really hard to find any brand tops that will look good on you (accommodating bust and arm length/size)

Other than that theres a bunch of brand dresses that are fully shirred or have partial shirring. I usually look at lace market for sizing since brand websites wont ever list how big a dress really goes, or can comfortably fit a 'plus size lolita'.

Very cute! Silicon spray and keeping wigs braided in storage helps keep the tangle factor down. It also has to do with the fiber quality itself. Certain stores are known for better long quality than others. EpicCosplay, Cyperous, and Lucialle are said to have decent long wigs, Arda's long straight wigs tangle a lot according to what I've read.

Seconding bunnyhouse, but the white eyelet lace on their white blouses(at least the classic ones) are a little overwhelming. They also use round buttons that tend to come loose pretty easily, so plan on perhaps replacing them.
Fan Plus Friend are pretty good but sometime the custom sizing comes out a little weird. I ordered a long sleeved blouse once from them and the sleeve openings were almost twice as wide as my wrists and I had to take them in pretty far.

Get a custom size blouse from The Floral Notebook (while they're still open) or Glitter Tale! Check out the Korean indie brands (Baroque, LIEF, Haenuli) for standard options that go up to bigger sizes. Haenuli has long bodices though, it depends on your torso size if it fits right. Bodyline does have nicer stuff but I would recommend starting with a solid color or floral print jsk/skirt!

You can also check out Souffle Song for prints if you're on a budget since they're average tier for Taobao brands, make sure to check reviews for items beforehand. Rococo Soul and Chess Story on taobao often releases items that go on the lower end of plus size!

I hate shopping online so much but its the only time I can really find cute things. I'm 5'10" and see dresses online that are pretty cute that end up being extremely short on me.

And shit stores like torrid and f21 where i can actually try things on are busy catering to trendy tribal prints or coachella cut offs.

Also your make up doesnt really work for nozomi, maybe well for normalfag stuff but not if its for cosplaying nozomi. Id say work on the brows and try to get a more sleepyeyed look.

Someone with similar measurements to me was called out for being plus sized before, but when I posted my measurements I was told I shouldn't be in the plus sized thread. Are there different judgement depending on the place (ex- cgl plus size vs. normal plus-size)?

I just need your full body picture, measurements, height, and weight.
Generally if you don't shop in the plus size section and don't have too much trouble shopping in the average selections, you're likely normal sized even if you are on the bigger end of the spectrum.

Yeeah it's not something I'm wearing anywhere. I got the wig in the mail and wanted to try it with anything costume-y.

I realize the wig is way off, but in the photos from what I ordered it appeared darker. I was pretty bummed too. This was mostly a result of being really excited that the wig came in. And that I managed to cut the bangs without completely destroying it.

Thanks for all the advice! Based on the definitions given, I'm not plus sized. Seems pretty far from it. I suppose it's just insecurity getting to me, but to be fair, plus sized threads are pretty good at giving advice to body shapes.

I usually wear size 4 US. Now I feel weird being in this thread, but I have large calves from dancing and so any plus sized socks information in here is always appreciated.

I have that exact wig from ghostcos and I did a quick test (for fun since the wig wasn't specifically for Nozomi not to I have any of her stuff).

It works but the thing is it's purple mixed with black fibres. Which close up doesn't look very good.

Someone listed a Liz Lisa dress on sales and I bought it, thinking that she was exaggerating the size...(she assured me it'd fit; I'm 100cm bust and 83cm waist). I got it today and it actually does fit and I cannot explain how happy I am. I love Liz Lisa stuff but it's usually very small.

It looks really good too--shows off my collar bone and just the start of my tits...sits at a good length and flatters my waistline.

There is hope!

I'm trying to be cute as the 5'4'' girls running around but at 6'0'' I am having trouble finding anything really.
Even my go to jeans must have changed something this year in their patterning. I bought a new pair and they are sliding down my hips like they can't get to the floor fast enough.

I have to stick to sleevless items (arms are never long enough on clothing)
Only wear shorts if Long is not an option (because I'll look like I tried to wear capris with regular pants)
Wear billowy tops (regular tailored stuff will show my belly or back in a matter of minutes from my torso being long)
Can only buy leggings or stockings in Queen size because that's the only way they will stretch up my legs

So effing frustrating trying to find good looks. And I really want to. I'm getting older and the window of wearing cute things is closing within 5 years.

Thank you! The flower bracelets are actually hair ties, but I was too overwhelmed from battling with the wig just to get it on to even attempt styling it with the hair ties. I thought they were a bit gaudy as I was taking the pic but that was overpowered by the feeling of "Wow, I actually look cute! And I'm covered in sunflowers!"

While it would be nice to lose a little I don't think I have. I haven't been trying and I look the same. Heck I may have gained 5 or 10 in the past 3 years and didn't notice.

They must have changed the rise of the jeans or something. Maybe they don't come up the few cm higher like they used to so they slide off hips cause they didn't make it to the waist.

What didn't occur to me was just to tailor them. I took in the waist of some jeans last year. I should do that to these and see what it gets me.

I was gifted $50 for clothes shopping for my birthday and would like to get a few things.
I've looked at yesstyle, but it's so fucking expensive. I found another store that offered cheap clothing, but got a lot of complaints despite "customers" sending in pictures of them wearing the clothing.

I just got my custom blouse from Glitter Tale (find them on fb) and I am very pleased! It'll be perfect to wear under jsks, or with a skirt with a cami underneath. Would definitely reccomend them for custom blouses.

It's a pretty universally flattering cut, but I can't say for sure. I went and double-checked those measurements, and I'd say the bust and waist in the size chart are closer to the recommended body measurements; the dress itself has a little more room.
