what's going on with this photo? - It looks like it's been taken in poor lighting and then over processed in photoshop - look at those extreme noise levels. If you look at the skin on her arms, hands etc, everthing about the processing in the photo emphasizes lines marks etc, even ones that likely aren't really visible irl. Basically this is one of the most unflattering things you can do to anyone as a photographer.

I think that everyone here underestimate Jnig's financial decision.
She is 25 and living with her parents, so she doest not spend on food or rent.
I don't know how much she makes but I guess that she makes a pretty good amount of mney to invest in something that later is going to leave her money, as real estates.

She would have to actually get a divorce from her first husband to do this. Last I remember reading from other anons who went looking for them there was no legal records showing that she is divorced from him.

It takes a steady job to support oneself alone, and what does she honestly have in prospect for that regard?

Ya. Never underestimate the lengths people will go to prove a point in an online discussion. It is scary but at the same time I will admit a small part of me appreciates it when people make claims and have sources to back it up.

Yaya stepped on a lot of people to get where she is today so among the older cosplay crowd there isnt a lot of love for her. I have friends who are still harboring grudges against her for various reasons since early 2000s. I think I would just be too lazy for that.

Not in the beginning anon. But I am talking like late 90s. By the time she started to get some notoriety in the con scene she was making her own stuff. Which makes sense. Everyone starts out learning to sew from friends, family or teachers. She just lied/didnt credit it originally so some people were salty and the grudge stuck. Which is why I mentioned it. I think it is stupid when people still claim she is commissioning her stuff and point to her fiance making parts of her batgirl armor or whatever.
