I dance to a kpop/japanese/parapara dance routine every time I wake up. Its great exercise and a great way to get your blood pumping first thing in the morning. I've learned many dances this way.

I also own a hug pillow just because I think it looks cool.

I like how anime looks, I like the music, the cuteness, dress in jfashion daily

But I'm not that into anime... cartoons are where its at.

I became student council VP back in high school partially because of how amazing manga and anime made it sound. and it was everyting I thought it would be! matching backpacks, cardigans, jersies and button up shirts. our names and logos embroidered on EVERYTHING. it was a lot more work than anticipated though. I once tried to suggest we get matching armbands. It didnt go through.

Whenever I think about cooking, the first thing I do is look all through Cooking with Dog's channel. I rarely ever have to cook since we eat a big meal at work on working days and often get invited for dinner from my mum. So if I cook it's japanese with authentic ingredients of course. I barely can cook a western meal that's not boring but I'll make you delicious Okonomiyaki if you want.

Going off the topic of weeb tattoos, i got one a little over a year ago. I originally wanted a big piece but I wasn't sure if I could handle the pain, so I decided to stick with a small and simple one. A lot of people ask it's from Gaia Online, but I actually took it from the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds logo. I'm debating if I should add to it and changing it to Sakura's Clow key.

This is more embarrassing, but this was legitimately my room until I was 19. Then we moved to a new house and decided to just paint my room pastel pink with no weeb things. All my manga and posters are retired forever in boxes in the garage.

I still listen to just anime openings and soundtracks everyday. My wallet is the pink Clow Book from CCS, and my hair is finally long enough for Usagi odangos. I also pack cute bentos for myself everyday for school and work.

I don't mind bad shows, but it was just so damn obvious that this show was basically "a bunch hot naked guys being eye-candy and doing whatever slice of live stuff so you can ship them and buy merachndise". I've never had my 'yaoi-phase' I always shipped het-couples or yuri for some reason so this show was just plain boring to me. It was the male counterpart to K-ON! if we're honest.

I think it had a lot more drama than k-on had; it seemed pretty slice of life-y up to a certain point, and then it became more centered on the character drama they had going on. I guess I'm biased, though, since I couldn't get past the first few episodes of k-on; I really am not into the cute girls doing cute things shows.
I will admit it was definitely a fanservice show; even the merch plays up whatever ships the fans are into.

Other than lolita, my powerlevel is 100% hidden. My boyfriend is an ex/closet weeb as well and he has no idea that I still watch anime from time to time and desperately want to visit Japan. I don't know why I hide it from him - I doubt he'd mock me for it, but he'll probably tease me a little. His sister is a full on weeb and when we're out with her I simultaneously feel kind of embarrassed and want to let loose and weeb out with her.

I left my weeaboo phase far behind but when I went to college some fucker showed me a bunch of anime's (ohshc, hetalia, black butler) and I got sucked back in for weeaboo phase 2 I'm just now crawling out of it although I do still listen to vocaloids and read hetalia updates and fanfictions occasionally. It no longer rules my life. I did jump on the snk bandwagon and bought a bunch of merch tho. I still like jfashion and cosplaying at cons but I no longer do stupid shit like cosplaying at Walmart and being a public nuisance. But yeah, I sorta feel a little too old for Gaia sometimes even though I'm only nineteen. It's very rare to find someone that I get along. growing up, i never really had any friends who were really into weeb shit like i was, so meeting all my friends at uni was honestly one of the best things to have ever happened to me. we learn para para dances together, have a dance club as a subset of our cosplay club, and frequently room together for cons (and also cry together as we make our costumes/props)

i didn't get to study in ~*~glorious tokyo~*~ (i was on the west coast), but even after i went to visit tokyo for vacation, i truly love the city i was in. i want to go back partly bc of my weeby needs, but also bc i just love being there so much.

i hope all u anons who want to go to japan will get to go there one day!! my experience has completely renewed my love for japan ; u ;

Other than the figures being new, I haven't been huge on concealing my powerlevel. I can act normal, but my room is nearly covered in posters/prints/interesting advertisements and I've got a fair bit of manga that I need to get down from storage in California and ship out to my current apartment. I can act normal, but most of my friends are also huge nerds so it's not really a problem for me.

I made a friend with a Japanese exchange student the other day. We were talking about lolita fashion, and eventually the topic turned to how she thought it was gross to see older women into it, mentioning how it was supposed to reflect doll-like and a young "look."
