And that's the story how I gained the respect of all the black kids in my school. Apparently being able to beat one or two of them in a fight gives you instant street cred? It honestly kind of stuns me at how better my middle school handled a fight like that, compared to how my high school handled it. Fighting in highschool, it didn't even matter what exactly happened and why, everyone involved instantly gets suspended and Saturday School

I had a bunch of black girls try to beat me up on the way home from middle school for being the token quiet nerd girl. (This was long before I was into anime, Sailor Moon was on TV but that's about it) But after they saw I was able to fight and defend myself, they stopped and kinda gave me some respect. For what it's worth most of my friends back then were black and they probably didn't like that I was white nerd girl hanging out with the black girls and thought I was probably an easy target because I was so damn quiet, shy and awkward.

con officials made me give statement, asked is I wanted to call police, and so forth. I was to annoyed and shocked so I said no, but I should have. I feel bad for her friends though because they obviously didn't know what was happening. I ended up leaving a few minutes after, since I dint have my make up to fix the damage she did.
