First time /cgl/ poster here, I need some advice. I’m looking to do my first cosplay, I’d like to do Jonah from Jormungand. Figured it would be easy enough for me to do given it requires little to no sewing (im not an artsy person) and I already have most of the gear.

Here is my dilemma. Im 5’11, 160Lbs and white, Jonah is short and dark skinned. Should I not even bother? Do you think it would look weird?

Whatever, I came here because I though I could get some help. I've never cosplayed before so its very intimidating to me. It was a simple question that i guess no one can answer. I though the cosplay community would be more helpful to newcomers.

at best you're going to be Jonah's white step brother. at worst you're going to be white haired guy in chest rig and shorts who no one recognizes. you should probably pick one of the other characters like Lutz, but even then you still risk not being recognized without a group.
