I did a BIN on an item from Y!J through FJ and that happened. I figured out later that the seller had an online storefront where the item had sold before they could take the Y!J listing down.

I had paid FJ for the item, but when the seller failed to ship it to them, they waited a few days and just refunded my money.

I'm ready to start looking for Honey Cake, anons. Does anyone know the Japanese term for Honey Cake? I've searched:

蜂蜜 ケーキ(literally the kanji for honey+cake)
ハニー ケーキ (ha-ni kei-ku)
And just Honey Cake in English.

I only got results when searching "Honey Cake" in English, and even then, it was only the necklace. I know that Lolibrary usually has the name of prints in Japanese, but they don't. The Japanese for the Honey Cake entries basically just translates to jumperskirt/OP/socks/whatever it is. Can anyone help? I posted this in the mail thread but I seemed to have posted it right before it hit autosage so I'll post it here too: I was on here a few weeks ago complaining about the russian post. The last time I bought something from russia, it was in customs/at the airport/whatever for about 2-3 weeks before it finally arrived in the US to go through customs here. Earlier I figured I just had another week or two to wait, but it's now been 1 full month since my package left russian customs and is waiting to leave the country. Is the russian post just super slowed down from holiday mail (and I should wait more), or do you think I should ask my seller if she could contact the post office? She messaged me a few weeks ago asking if I had received it yet so I know she seemed a bit concerned as well.

There is a certain method of payment you are supposed to abide by with each system (mercari, mbok, etc). The SS is supposed to follow those guidelines when paying the seller. If the SS doesn't, it is their responsibility to give their buyer a refund no matter what if the item never arrives. (Which is also shown by proof of tracking, because each of those services require it in a dispute if the seller tries to argue it.)

So basically, it is nearly impossible for a SS to not owe the buyer a refund if the item never arrives because if they were playing by the book they can always get a refund, and if not it is their fault.

Also, Paypal will always side with the buyer on an Item Never Arrived case if there is no tracking, especially if presented with the terms of the website the SS bought off of.

Don't let any SS abuse you, a lot of them have been scammers in the past.

It's worth it to check out both shops depending on your style tastes.

Baby SF is a bit nicer/bigger store overall. Stock really depends on how recently they receive shipments, but it's never really bad.

If you buy from AP SF in person you don't get gouged with shipping. Most popular new release items sell out online on release day, and the store stocks leftovers. They are not the best at keeping in store/online stock updated so I've found items in store that were sold out online occasionally.

As for the choices, like every other lolita clothing, you should match it to your wardrobe. eg if you're into sweet and pastels look at AP's outerwear, if you're into classic and earth tones look at IW's outerwear. New petticoat advice, please ?
I need a heavy-duty petticoat to put under pic related, my usual Classical Puppets Dailies are not heavy enough and it looks like I'm not wearing a petticoat.
I'm in Europe and need it before February 20th.

The options I've considered are :
> Malco Modes 582 : Candy Violet/Vivicore is out of stock of the regular length and shipping is horrendous on Malco Modes' website (40$ for a 60$ petti)
> Closet Child/Chocomint New Super Gorgeous Pannier : hoping Closet Child ships quickly this time
> melikestea : I honestly don't know what to order
> victoriangirldress : I'm not sure they'd be resistent enough
> another Classical Puppets/Dear Celine : impossible with the short deadline and CNY

Should I suck it up on the 40$ shipping from Malco Modes ? Is there any reseller (European preferably) I overlooked ? Or would Chocomint be a good option ?

Melikestea: You're cutting it fine for Feb 20th. Manufacture time is 15 working days!

I said that because my weight/height is normal for my body type (thin pear shaped) so for this my waist is a bit bigger than the usual but my bust is AA cup so i carry more weight down my bust but nothing chubby. I think nowadays girls have delusional expectations of their bodies that cannot understand what means being healthy. I see too much girls try to lose weight even if they aren't fat so they think having a waist over 62 cm is fat due to social pressure or whatever. I know i sound SJW but i feel concerned when girls around say having a waist like 68 cm is considered fat. Not everyone have to be a hourglass figure with a tiny waist, there are many body types for women and places where they store more weight.

Okay since you gulls are discussing measurements, maybe someone could help me with this question before the dress goes off. I'm looking at an IW jsk listed with 'max' measurements for bust and waist at 86/70 cm. It has waist ties and back panel shirring. My measurements are 80/65. Will this fit me? This is my first time buying lolita so I don't really know how much extra room you can have in centimeters . I thought I saw someone saying you can get away with a few extra?

>> No.8095945

>>8095937
I think you are perfectly fine, as some anons said you must leave 3-4 cm more to breathe in your jsk/skirt. Usually some burando if has shirring is more than listed but i don't think it's the case for IW, i don't have any IW item yet but anons say their items haven't shirring or stretch much.

I don't think that is fat at all, not even chubby. Of curse it also depends on your height. I have a 65 cm waist and 85 cm bust, but I'm only 1.55 m tall so I look a little chubby and I would like to lose weight, but if you're taller I think you're perfectly fine anon.

The cup size alone doesn't determine size. It's cup plus band width. One of my friends is a 28DD/E and can fit into IW because she has such a small rib cage to begin with.

Also, sorry if you've heard this before, but make sure you get properly fitted for a bra. VS doesn't count. Either a bra boutique or Nordstrom; their fitters will fit you and tell you your size for free, even if you decide not to buy anything there.

Thanks for all the info, gulls!! I let the dress go, if she resists I'll ask for a measurement on the bodice length. I honestly thought my torso was short, because...it looks short, but the way things fit and from what I've read, I have a 'proportional' torso so who knows. If I'm going to drop over 100 dollars on such a simple dress, it better fit. I've been spoiled by wicked ebay deals I guess.

I'll definitely get a professional bra fitting this spring. I was a dirty bra eschewing hippie until I turned 21 and got sick of layering tank tops.
