Hi anons I sold a dress on LM to someone for quite a lot of $, she took 2 days to pay my invoice, then told me to send it to another address that's not her paypal one, saying that it was her parent's address and she wanted it sent to hers. After hearing how that's some scams happen I'm a bit paranoid, should I tell her I can't do that? Is it possible for her to change her address on paypal even after she's already paid?

I'm ready to start looking for Honey Cake, anons. Does anyone know the Japanese term for Honey Cake? I've searched:

蜂蜜ケーキ(literally the kanji for honey+cake)
ハニーケーキ (ha-ni kei-ku)
And just Honey Cake in English.

I only got results when searching "Honey Cake" in English, and even then, it was only the necklace. I know that Lolibrary usually has the name of prints in Japanese, but they don't. The Japanese for the Honey Cake entries basically just translates to jumperskirt/OP/socks/whatever it is. Can anyone help? I know that it's a super sought after print, but there has to be at least a few listings. Thanks in advance!

I know for a fact mercari, mbok, and I believe rakuten have ways to get your money back if the seller never shipped. So if a SS ever tells you they can't get you a refund for an item that was never shipped, they are scamming you. Item not as described is a bit more tricky. Not sure about Shoppies policy though.

I posted this in the mail thread but I seemed to have posted it right before it hit autosage so I'll post it here too: I was on here a few weeks ago complaining about the russian post. The last time I bought something from russia, it was in customs/at the airport/whatever for about 2-3 weeks before it finally arrived in the US to go through customs here. Earlier I figured I just had another week or two to wait, but it's now been 1 full month since my package left russian customs and is waiting to leave the country. Is the russian post just super slowed down from holiday mail (and I should wait more), or do you think I should ask my seller if she could contact the post office? She messaged me a few weeks ago asking if I had received it yet so I know she seemed a bit concerned as well.

There is a certain method of payment you are supposed to abide by with each system (mercari, mbok, etc). The SS is supposed to follow those guidelines when paying the seller. If the SS doesn't, it is their responsibility to give their buyer a refund no matter what if the item never arrives. (Which is also shown by proof of tracking, because each of those services require it in a dispute if the seller tries to argue it.)

So basically, it is nearly impossible for a SS to not owe the buyer a refund if the item never arrives because if they were playing by the book they can always get a refund, and if not it is their fault.

Also, Paypal will always side with the buyer on an Item Never Arrived case if there is no tracking, especially if presented with the terms of the website the SS bought off of.

Don't let any SS abuse you, a lot of them have been scammers in the past.

It's worth it to check out both shops depending on your style tastes.

Baby SF is a bit nicer/bigger store overall. Stock really depends on how recently they receive shipments, but it's never really bad.

If you buy from AP SF in person you don't get gouged with shipping. Most popular new release items sell out online on release day, and the store stocks leftovers. They are not the best at keeping in store/online stock updated so I've found items in store that were sold out online occasionally.

You should drop a line in the SF comm group if you want to do a meetup, we are all pretty friendly and mostly drama-free now.

Doesn't this vary by person/wardrobe though? Like if it was me, I'd just go with blouse and cardi, or blouse and parka/hoodie, any warmer and I'd start melting. My friend, though, she's into jackets because she gets cold easily.

As for the choices, like every other lolita clothing, you should match it to your wardrobe. eg if you're into sweet and pastels look at AP's outerwear, if you're into classic and earth tones look at IW's outerwear. Approach it like buying shoes, your outerwear needs to match all your spring outfits, or else you wouldn't be able to coord properly.

I would go for cardigans/boleros, but that's just me. Jackets are hard unless they are cut short, and hoodies can look a bit too loose and baggy but good for casual outfits.

Sometimes I also wear an undershirt (t-shirt or tank top) under my blouses so that I am layered already. I have been able to wear only wear a cutsew in the fall and skip the jacket like this.

I wore a coat from baby with a proper blouse, petti and bloomers underneath that was just as long as a dress and a lot of members in my comm got snippy about it. Burando? Meta has a few up right now. AP looks to be doing some for either the rose print or the salon de the print. Baby has a few fingerless ones, moitie usually does lace arm warmers. Victorian Maiden does some nice crochet ones.

The cup size alone doesn't determine size. It's cup plus band width. One of my friends is a 28DD/E and can fit into IW because she has such a small rib cage to begin with.

Also, sorry if you've heard this before, but make sure you get properly fitted for a bra. VS doesn't count. Either a bra boutique or Nordstrom; their fitters will fit you and tell you your size for free, even if you decide not to buy anything there.

The bodice length is guaranteed to be an issue. I always try to double check the measurements before I buy, and I aim for cuts that have the adjustable straps.

You're better off looking at cosplay tutorials for styling wigs.

(btw, I count four girls in your image using their real hair, not wigs. A fifth I'm not sure about, but I'd bet on natural hair as well.)
