I FINALLY have it! Holy lantern op in my preferred colour way. Got it for such a reasonable price too, holy lantern just seems so be going up and up and up. It makes it even harder cause when you do have the money no one ever sells

I'm aware of a few auctions going on right now, but I'm not holding my breath. I got to see this jsk in pink in person and it's not something I'd be willing to shell out more than $450 on. Yes, I understand desirability and all that but I think people are really fucking themselves to pay over $500 right now.

I was finally able to nab this dress after missing it on mbok the first time. This time it popped up I got it with headbow and the next day found the matching socks for 600yen BIN. Needless to say I am veeeeeeery happy

I have a lot of stuff on my wishlist but these are probably my top wants at the moment. I actually got the Milky Planet Special Set from a fellow seagull last month. Currently I can't afford to buy anything but this summer my friend is going to Japan and I'm sending her with a detailed wishlist and $1,200 to hunt down some of this stuff for me.

I can't seem to find it in this color. Ivory meight be ok too, but I've never seen it being sold. I browse Yahoo, Mbok, Usagi, CC and Tokyo Alice at least 3 to 4 times a week, daily if things are calm at work. Am I not looking hard enough?

I tried to get in via SS in navy during reservation, but she couldn't get it for me. She asked if I'd like it in black and I said no, because navy is always my favorite color for dresses. Then I saw detail pictures of the black one and realized how faded the colors look on navy compared to black (especially the gold/bronze part). Wine was my top colour preference, but I settled for the ivory and I think it's lovely.
It's not a dress that pops up too frequently but I've seen the skirt go for super cheap a few times.
And it sounds like you're searching hard to find it, but I always think that there's an element of luck involved. I bought mine from y! but it was an old listing that kept being re-listed. The seller had terrible feedback but I took the chance and everything turned out fine.

It's definitely worth the wait, anon! I own it in sax and will snatch up the other colours in a heart beat. The fabric is super soft and the silhouette is very flattering, though the pleats can be a nightmare to iron.
Pic related is my dream dress, I haven't seen it anywhere other in voiceless angel's wardrobe post. I love MM and their simple designs.

This has been sold in ivory, carrot and black on LM a lot. You can type in the dresses name in the search box and you will see all the past auctions for it to see how much they went for. It's actually not rare, the first release is. It's also not expensive, it sells for retail or a bit more. I want it in that colorway too, and in size L. I was about to purchase it off of LM a few weeks/months back but decided not to because I'm trying to save money :(

Don't feel bad guys, it's perfectly fine from a collectors point of view. You can always put it on your mannekin to feel a bit less guilty, that way you can look at it everyday and it would at least count as decor (you can pay over $400 for decor, ok? It counts as art dude!), so it won't sit in a dark corner of your closet forever.

No, a 29" waist is smaller than the average waist size in the UK (and presumably other countries). I get that it's too "big" to fit into a lot of lolita dresses but it's kind of sad IMO when people post about feeling gross because they have average proportions.

Been wanting this dress for a while, but there's so much standing in my way. I basically live in this gross basement, it floods all the time, and it sure doesn't help that my managers keep forgetting to pay me my salary (I compose music from home). On top of that, my beloved girlfriend has been spending time with this old sweetheart of hers, some asshole named Raoul. She even went to this ball as his guest. I couldn't believe it. I've basically been supporting her since her violinist dad died, and she's the only person in my life. I think I'm going to surprise her with the other thing I've been saving up for: plastic surgery. See, I have this ugly facial deformation, so I have to wear this mask all the time to cover it up. Totally ruins my coords, as you can imagine. Once I get that fixed, I'm sure she'll love me even more. After we get married, I'll buy this dress to celebrate. Hope she likes opera.
