Pigtails will just make it look like some kind of shitty miku tbh, I thought about that but every shitty kirlia cosplayer on google used pigtails and they look really bad.

Arda's Chibi is the only kind of pigtails I could really see looking okay, but at that point I'd rather just carry on the ballerina theme and go with the buns.

I think you should just do the pigtails with the chibi wig, I get the theme but kirlia does have pigtail like things on its head.I think with properly styled bangs you'll look fine. If you don't want to use bows you can make a disc like accessory to go around the pigtails to imitate the horns.

cosplays get confused all the time so don't stress, if they don't call you miku they'll probably call you Ranka Lee or megupoid.

This is the best Usami cosplay I've ever seen. I love the flow of the dress and her wig and ears look fantastic.

My only nitpick is too many feathers, especially since the broach ones aren't lightly golden. The shoe gems also feel a little too glitzy for Usami/make the cosplayer look like a PMMM OC, but they're still cute. 9/10.

I like the concept, but holy shit that makeup looks fucking terrible, and those rings on the hair are all lumpy and uneven.

My favorite Kyubeys are ouji-styles, just because they look kind of magical girl themselves and it's.... ironic? idk.

mt BF make a kyuubey gijinka, but I don't have any good pics of it..
We went with a more military style, since he's tall and very thin, and also has a delicate face.
We used a white short wig with pink gradient to the ends.

Something I liked a lot was that our contracts were pink-printed with cute borders and we used an translucid acrilic board to hold them, with pink gems and a feather-pen.

So I'm interested in cosplaying Amaterasu from Okami, but a lot of the gijinkas I see for her are slutty or show too much skin. I'd like to do something more traditional in keeping with the fact that she's a goddess, but I'm having trouble coming up with a design. Also, this was one that I found that I think looks nice.

Sewing them isn't hard, they're one of the most basic things you can make. And they aren't fitted, you just need to get his biggest measurement and make sure it's bigger than that?

Shameless self-posting.

I happened into a Comic-Con badge last-minute last year, and hastily threw together a simple Portal turret gijinka (a friend of mine did a Companion Cube gijinka to match but I don't have the pictures). It's basically a closet cosplay, but at least it's working off of a simple design.

I ordered short with 120 cm clip-on ponytails which I'm gonna dye with pink gradient as well. We are trying to make androgynous Kyubey look since it was said in anime that they all look the same. Tbh I'm not sure how we will manage to pull that off.

just a few Qs right now -

1. How much fabric (approx) do you think I'd need? He's like 6' and maybe 320 lbs? I don't have his actual measurements yet.

2. How much give should it have overall? I have a kigu but I'm a beanpole so it's a lot bigger on me than on others.

3. Are there any actual patterns or is it just kind of a "figure it out" kind of thing?

4. what type of material should I use? Just a basic anti-pill fleece?

1. Around 6 yards would be safe for a taller, wider kigu.
2. An extra 10" around would be fine.
3. You should be able to find some tutorials and rough patterns in the old threads like >>8069507 mentioned.
4. Anti-pill or blizzard fleece is fine. I usually line my hoods with cotton.
