what are your uniform rules/requirements? If we know what we're working with here we might be able to help.

We have to stick to black and white clothing, though accessories can be coloured if they're not too big, we have the usual stuff like blazers, jumpers, plain skirts, and such. Students manage to wear accessories such as hoodies, scarves, coats and such though without many teachers getting annoyed.

I think this is one of those situations where lolita isn't really appropriate. Just wear your uniform when you have to, maybe with an accessory or two if you are allowed, and wear lolita outside of school. Lolita just isn't appropriate for every situation.

Not exactly loli, but pic related shows some ways to make your uniform cute/cuter. From the CUTiE April 2013 edition. Sorry for the shit quality.
Also, this girl made a video about incorporating lolita elements into a school uniform

I recommend looking at oldschool black x white gothic lolita (or classic) for inspiration, think Wednesday Adams kinda silhouette. If you're allowed, swap out your standard pointed white collar shirt for one with a subtle peter pan shape. Wear a skirt at knee length or longer that flares out slightly (obviously you can't go for lolita levels of poof here). Carry a black classic lolita bag and wear black lolita shoes - some of the ones bodyline has put out you could easily get away with at school.

Bonus, by lolita-like stationary and shit like that.

Follow not too obvious or 'out there' lolita hair and make-up tutorials - many are actually very natural looking (if you ignore the more extreme 'dolly' circle lenses type ones).

Nice ideas, I think the peter pan shape would be passable in most schools, and stationary why didn't I think of that? Thank you.

That seems to be surprisingly somewhat easy to replicate in a school uniform thinking about it, rad idea.

Ugh, just wear your damn uniform?
Why do you have to incorporate it at all means?
You'll get into situations where lolita will not be appropiate, where you can't wear it. So get used to it and suck it up. Don't worry, wearing you unrori uniform won't cause an identity crisis.

I just can't stand people who have to force lolita into everything. It's the same kind of person who won't understand that you can't wear lolita to office and who will insist on wearing their special loli dresses to weddings or funereals.
It's just a street fashion not a religion. You can look classy at your office with other nice clothing, too.

A uniform is a uniform for a reason. Work clothes can be lolified a bit as long as you're not a delusional tard about it but it's totally different from a school uniform.

Thats clearly not anything like your uniform if yours is black and white. That's some private school shit, whereas if people are getting away with wearing hoodies a ton your school is probably (although not certainly) relatively chavvy. Stop making Amerifags think our uniforms are nicer than they are.

It's probably more like this. My advice is to just get a lolita bag. Maybe a couple of small hairclips. I had one of the Restyle briefcase-type bags as my schoolbag for ages.

I didn't think the pic you posted looked bad enough so I did some searches for chav uniforms and I couldn't find anything. It's really hard to find pictures of the way the people at high schools like the one near me dress. You know, tube skirts instead of pleated, fake tan and sharpie brows, loosened ties. Only year sevens with good uniforms get photographed for the prospectus, I guess.

Ignoring the fact you're clearly underage, just don't bother, you'll get shit from teachers more likely. Wait until you hit 6th form or a college for that shit.

Speaking of britfag uniforms, mine was okay when I was in secondary. In my area though there was a catholic school that everyone would refer to the students as smurfs.

I always felt sorry for the kids with uniforms that weren't black, maybe blue. For some reason having to wear grey trousers was hideously embarrassing at that age...and the idea of having a maroon or bottle green blazer would have killed me.

>> No.8054456

>>8054191
I wouldn't say 'don't bother' per se, of course you can't create a legit or lolita passable outfit from school uniform but a touch of lolita styling flare in the form of subtle accessories doesn't seem too ridiculous to me. Certain black lolita shoes as mentioned earlier in the thread could certainly be used without looking inappropriate, same goes for low-key classic lolita bags etc. I don't think it stupid to inject a little of what you like into your day to day uniform - I'm a britfag and got away with doing this kinda thing at school (they had a pretty strict dress code too).

>> No.8054515

>>8054456
I dunno, maybe I'm a killjoy but I really don't see the point in doing more than having a lolita bag. I didn't even get a lolita schoolbag like >>8053766; I still had a rucksack for my school stuff, but a seperate small handbag for purse, keys, wallet, ID, etc since once I was in sixth form I couldn't just stick those in my blazer pocket. It was more of a signal of my hobby to other lolitas than anything else. But then I went to school a long couple of bus rides from home and couldn't really be arsed doing my hair and make-up in a loliable way because it was far too much effort early in the morning (and subtle lolita make-up isn't really specific to lolita at all). I do remember wearing lolita/goth boots in sixth form, but when I was lower down the school and actually had a uniform my school was pretty strict on sensible footwear and had a blanket ban on all accessories other than stud earrings, so I don't think any of the lolita shoes posted earlier in the thread (except plain Oxfords) would have gone down well. Plus tbh I don't think any of the pleather lolita shoes I've owned would have stood up to the daily battering mine got. Even with real leather ones they'd always wear out in a year.

tl;dr putting that much effort in just to go to fucking school is a waste of time. Items that can replace items already in your daily routine (cute handbags, cute umbrellas, coats) are nice but items you have to put time aside to add like hair accessories aren't worth it IMHO.
