That means nothing and you know it. I can mention a few video game and anime series (i.e. Tekken,) that a character isn't even fully rendered yet with cosplays. Haise has a mixed reaction in the fandom. People complain about him on Batoto a lot because he's not Centipede so you'll see more Kenny than him. Hell there's already people doing the Root A version of Kenny and he just came out.

Well from the shonen series I've read some big battle happens that makes the self center hero/heroine change heart, i.e. Bleach, Naruto, etc. or a heel face turn. In this case Touka just changes gradually like the HQ guy.

Those two are also shipped with the mc more so than anyone else in the fandom doesn't help either. (Or could be the reason why I compared the two.)

Don't think it's cheap, just that sclera lenses are inconvenient for con usage. Great for photoshoots though; you should only wear them for ~4 hours so I don't think it's worth it unless you're planning to take pictures during that entirety of that time.

How much do black sclera contacts cost and are they easy to wear? Most people don't have money to buy two sets of contacts if you are doing someone like Eto or Kenny who only have use for one. I'm not paying $100 for two sets of contacts when I can just use a red one and a gray one for cheaper.

No I mean Batoto and Mangafox in general. When Imperial Scans was delayed people claimed up and down that it was because IS hated Touka. Nobody but the Touka/Kenny fans were saying this. Everyone else was straight up "Eh things happens."

Also one time when I brought up Tsukiyama casually comparing how he changed from the beginning to now some fan went into rabid mode saying that Tsukiyama is 'nonredeemable,' 'horrible' and 'a ghoul,' and he hasn't changed at all.

I'm kind of in a dilemma right now, I can't make up my mind in whether I should buy another wig or not.

I have 3 purple wigs in different shades and sizes and I'm making plans to cosplay Rize in a few months, but I don't have the exact combination of shade and size for her.
Most cosplayers I've seen apparently don't either, as seen in >>8049819 and >>8066271 .
As much as I like to stick to the original design, I would rather avoid buying another wig which is just a combination of the other ones I have, mostly because it would be a one-time thing (I'm cosplaying her because my bf is going as Kaneki, we love couple cosplays and I actually really like her as caracter, but I don't think I would cosplay her otherwise).
Of the 3 wigs I mentioned, only 2 are worth mentioning, since the other one is too short:
I have a 80cm plum wig (used and styled for Senjougahara, the color is pretty much spot-on) and a 65cm dark purple wig (wasn't styled yet).
Unless there is a way to make the plum one appear shorter without actually cutting it, I would probably go for the last one.

Would it be that bad or am I the only one who gives a shit?

I'm actually in the middle of trying to get a mask commissioned right now, I've seen a ton of Kaneki cosplays and masks for sale but they all just seem so flat or bland looking and I feel like the mouth never has enough depth.

Sculpt your mask in two parts (upper and lower) out of clay, bake, then make a negative. Pour the negative with silicone (preferably) or thick latex. Make sure you have as much detail as possible on your first sculpt (make things a bit more dramatic) for best results. Then glue in the zipper and finish with your choice of paint.

little late but anon i had the same problem and looked for the better part of two to three months for the perfect fucking wig. i actually found one but dumbass me didn't save the link. i like the first wig much better than the second though.

i also understand buying two three wigs for one cosplay because little details like that drive me crazy when it's slightly off. so if you're willing to make one last purchase, you could get epic cosplay's dark plum wig. it was one of the wigs i was debating on getting for rize because it had that slight maroon tone to it while still being purple.

Those shoes could go pretty well with the cosplay, but I think lace-less dress shoes could work too.
For suitcases, it could be any sort of attache suitcase. Leather is acceptable, but metal cases would look a lot better.

What the actual fuck are you saying? People don't like him because he's very one-dimensional in the sense that hes entirely a dramatic dramabitch. Yes, he's funny, and i enjoy his screen time, but honestly it doesn't feel like ishida is trying to make him LIKEABLE. yes, ishida is doing a good job with his character and role, but he isn't necessarily good in the likeable sense.

Ishida is obviously shipping kaneki and touka, and the only reason people don't like touka is for her fucking hair and that she was "mean" to kaneki. HELLO? Tsukiyama made plans to KILL him.

Personally, I dislike Touka because I can't stand her character archetype in general and Tsukiyama pretty much for the reasons you've listed: I'll agree that he's changed from the start and I guess right now he does care for Kaneki, but his development was obscured by the comic relief he became at the same time. I also don't generally like pseudo "refined" characters/people on some pretentious aesthetic quest.

On the other hand, it is true that often gay/bi characters get a lot of hate for that reason, from desperate hetfags and n-no homo dudes. I've seen it happen countlessly with other characters, even when they were actually well written. Hell, if you looked at the threads on /a/ alone you'd see their full of this shit.

On the other hand, Tsukiyama fans, you're just looking at the wrong parts of the fandom. Your fave is plenty popular elsewhere. Just check Pixiv, Twitter and Tumblr.

Whoa calm down anon. Imma let you finish but I'm going to tell you a tale of what I've seen in the wacky Tokyo Ghoul fandom.

People don't like Tsukiyama for many reasons. I know someone personally who doesn't like homosexual (or camp) characters in anime/manga and Tsukiyama is in your face sexuality implied to the point that one of the things he said could be implied as "Fuck/kiss/hug." Oh and he obviously flirted with Kankei.

If you read the novels (and the interaction with Touka and her brother,) it implies that Tsukiyama isn't really gay, which suggests bisexual or "I don't care as long as they taste good." He never dated anyone (from what I read) and the only contact (and one friend) he had was with Chie, who was ironically his friend and the one who found him on the roof if you go by the current manga. Hell he used to talk to her about Kenny too so she was more than a 'pet.'

Another reason is that yes Tsukiyama tried to kill Kenny but hell so did Nishi "Serpent" and mind you after his back story was revealed nobody hated on him as much as they do Tsukiyama because "ablooabloo tragedy." In fact some fans in the fandom thinks he's as badass as white haired Kenny for becoming a top ranked ghoul in a few years. I'm not saying Tsukiyama is ok or right but I find it funny that people ignore Nishi trying to kill Kankei or the times that Touka told Kenny to go die/man up/kicked him/threaten to kill him because "oh he's a half ghoul and he doesn't know my struggles."

Every character has flaws and quirks and he's slowly trying to explain them one by one. Tsukiyama will have his time. I personally like everyone.

Do you have a nose piercing under there that's causing the bump? It's making the seam look off center but if it's not permanent it should be fine. If you can, try finding some little silver studs for the eyepatch and nose bridge area because it's looking a bit empty. Otherwise, looks pretty good anon!

I don't want to get married either but I know people whom got married and they knew each other for five months and people who were not married, had kids, and never knew that their baby dad was married to another family in a different state (yes this happened in my family.)

In my case though my parents were not married and were involved for eight years. Didn't get married, mom broke up with dad because she found out that he stole money from her and some other things she won't mentioned.

Honestly I don't see them getting married as a problem or these two getting married young as a big deal. If they are happy then they are happy. Remember that one couple that got married like in their 80s and then one of them died because their family approved? Yeah.

I got married after short-term dating but it had been more a question of logistics and bureaucracy than lack of common sense. We're still happily married after 7 years but back when we got married most people said he was doing it "just to get a visa" and how it was a sham marriage.
Bottom line, I think it's their relationship and we have no business speculating why and how without knowing more about it. Plenty more drama in other places if you need it that badly.
