ecora is about adding billion accessories and Fairy Kei is just pastel 80s children's fashion, it can crossover but is is rare that people wear accessories with Fairy Kei at all.

You were told wrong. Decora is about accessories(the term comes from decorate/decoration) it generally uses bright and sometimes pastel colors so that's probably where people confuse it for fairy kei, but decora still exists today alongside fairy kei.

Aside from learning about lolita from animu, decora was probably the first J-fashion I ever saw when I was about thirteen, and I've loved it since. A lot of it borders on kind of "ugly cute", which I normally dislike, but I just think it's so adorable and wish I could pull it off. Maybe someday.

Semi-related but I love the whole Bandaid-over-nose thing.
I wish more styles would incorporate it.
Like a white gauze bandage for cpk, or a neon one for pop kei, a leaf bandaid for mori.
I don't care how nonsensical it is, I just think anything over the bridge of the nose looks adorable.
I'm gonna slap on a nose bandaid whenever I wear jfash (outside lolita) from now on.

I love it too! It's a shame it's synonymous with rhynoplastry in the middle east, and with pore strips in the US.

I like in VK where they just have a straight up strip of fabric over the nose. I have a feeling it's to hide un-kawaii noses, but it's still cute.

And face masks for colds.

So my point is, the clothes may have existed since the 80s but the FAIRY KEI STYLE ITSELF didn't until the 2000s. Like you can't say all paintings are rip off of the human figure...
