I have these. The quality is fine although I'm a bit worried about the buckle/clasp. Mine are a bit roomy (23.8cm feet, bought size 24) so I just slip my feet in without undoing the clasp. They're comfortable enough but you do have to get used to waking in platforms if you aren't already. I walked around in them for two straight days at a con with no ill effects and only stumbled and embarrassed myself once (sigh).

They're pretty nice. They have that wierd beef jerky smell when you first get them out of the box, but it fades over time. They do get rpetty wrinkled up where they bend when you walk, but mine haven't scuffed or anything through regular wear.

I'd also suggest getting a half size up.

I just bought these shoes. They go with my outfit well and I like them a lot, but the straps fall down every few steps I take. Is there any way I can keep them up? I'm just scared of damaging my tights by doing so. Would I be better off replacing them with ribbons or something?

Double-sided tape won't hurt your tights. If you don't mind making a permanent alteration to the straps you could try adding a thin line of clear silicone caulk. It's how they make no-slip elastic, look at the glossy part in the photo. Use masking tape to protect the edges where you don't want caulk.

Bodyline coats can be hit or miss. I've read some reviews about coats being thin or flimsy. I have pic related, and it is actually nice. It is fully lined and quite heavy. I live in the south, so I don't wear it often. No pockets though, which is annoying.

So i know everyone is having issues with BL and shipping, but is this normal?
I order on the 1st and chose air mail. I paid by Paypal and it was accepted that same day. I checked my spam box and inbox, but I never recieved a confirmation email. For the billionth time I check on their tracking page, and my order's tracking number cant be found (i see it number, but the japanese post office and USPS pulls up nothing).

Does this mean it just hasnt been sent out? Should I email them? or should I just chill and give it another week? Never ordered from BL, but damn those shoes were cheap.

Nope. They totally do. I have the bow & the rose ones. The bow ones squeak because of the bow on the toe rubbing as you walk and bend that part of the boot. Probably fixable by putting something between the material. I never fixed it because I think it's funny.

The rose ones are super stiff and can bruise you with the way they crease around the ankle. They don't squeak like the bow ones but they're far less comfortable.

I bought size 26 in these and they fit me well. If it helps anyone out there If you own shoes 251 and they fit well, go one half size up because shoes 251 runs big.

I ordered a 4L 229 seifuku and I'm within the measurements for the top but the bottom might be snug especially since I hear bodyline can be inconsistent in sizing. I want to finally make my first BL order to kind of get myself into lolita. I'm not pretty or thin enough to reward myself with something really nice (working on it though). My only problem is I don't quite understand the shoe sizing? Is it just that the decimal is missing? (Like 225 actually means Japanese size 22.5 because that would make sense)

Shoe sizing is exactly that, I'd reccomend the thing where you trace your foot on a piece of paper then measure from the center of your heel to the tip of your big toe.
Rhs run a bit thin, width wise, so if you're thinking about those, get a size up.

These shoes are gorgeous, I ordered them in 6 colors. I got the the first part of my order a few days ago, the second part should be here today. It looks like they broke them up into three packages.

As for sizing, I always like a little wiggle room, and ordered the 26(my feet measure about 25.5), and they're perfect with tights or socks on.

lighting in my room is poor, so the colors look yellow, but they're accurate to the stock colors.
