This con was really underage. I'd guess most of the con-goers were around 16. The 18+ dance was virtually empty, while I heard that the 16+ dance was packed, though I didn't check.

Honestly, I think it did okay for a first time con. Attendance seemed good, even though most of it was kids. The panels were mostly bad, but a few of them were professionally done. Sammy and whatshisface did a great job as MCs.

I'd say it was mostly a party con, and I'd expect it to improve next year. I think they did as well as they could do with it being their first year.

Almost everybody that was on the meetup page was in my room saturday night at some point.
Apparently we were the only party that didn't get a noise complain or get busted. I run a professional operation, and it helps.

From talking to people and observing things, the problem was being severely understaffed. Apparently a large number of staff signed up and then no-showed the convention. One of my friends asked if they needed volunteers on a whim and she got bumped up to staff immediately.
That being said, it went pretty well for a first year con. No Dash-con meltdown occurred.

Ah, Team Lift XMA stuff! I actually wrecked my hand on the last day. We were doing a wire-pull stunt and my teammate and I had the oh-so-wise idea of having the wire wrapped around a hand in order to maintain grip on it. Case in point, the wire kinda crushed my hand. Still swollen; hopefully no bone fractures, so we'll see where it goes.
