Instead, we can't have discussions on things that are within the rules and completely /cgl/ related. Why can't we make fun of fat people? Is making fun of fatties the same as being racist or sexist? Are fat people an oppressed class now? If someone was doing something that's as harmful to their health as obesity (like anorexia, for example) society would be up in arms trying to change their habit. I know this is going to get deleted, but I really want a clear answer as to why bashing fat people goes against the rules.

I think some of the threads are deleted because they devolve into the same old /pol/ shit.

I think if they could focus on cosplay/lolita rather than fall into an argument about how to follow your religion or why fat people are ugly, they wouldn't be deleted.

I think making fun of fat people is probably acceptable so long as its within the scope of /cgl/-related topics. Just flat out making fun of them isn't contributing to the discussion.
