Why would you do this AP? This dress looks like it made with tacky crap from 50 percent off sale at Handcock.

So Seagulls, have you seen any totally cute dress done totally wrong? Was it a weird fabric choice or an ugly print?

It looks really cute here, but I can't even begin to imagine trying to unwrinkle that organza after it sits in its shipping packaging for god knows how long.

And, for such a plain dress, 270Y just seems like too much. I'd buy it if it were closer to 200, but a plain dress made of organza, which is crazy cheap, doesn't really seem worth $300 after shipping and taxes and shit.

I'd have gone with a solid but slightly sheer black chiffon blouse and just nix the gloves. Maybe go with short sleeves and then purple and silver or white wrist cuffs or bracelets or something.

I like the idea of doing an updated old school look, and I really like AP's flair for doing cutesy stuff. But, I think Baby won this round, they did a better-looking update with lace and chiffon.

Doesn't look ita to me, just really plain and not worth the $200 they're probably charging for it.
Seems like they're still kind of experimenting with using organza, and the results are hit-or-miss.
Pic related, Fairy Marine series was pretty cute, but I don't think the design and fabric choice in OP work well together.
