I'm having a hard time finding pretty shoes, so please share images & links to shops with loliable shoes.

I'm a bit through with Antainna and Bodyline shoes, they're shitty quality and their designs are always a bit off.

Shoe collection with some changes, SS makes awesome quality shoes, almost brand-like; here I have both replicas and originals side by side.
How come they rarely make lolita shoes?

>> No.7703979

I actually like Bodyline shoes. They're good for the price and and comfortable. Maybe it depends on the design. The boots are pretty shitty though.

It's easier to find loliable shoes for classic, thankfully. A couple of places and brands I like to shop/window shop for shoes from:
Modcloth
Naya Jada
Chelsea Crew
Fluevog
Miz Mooz
Clarks (UK)
Jeffrey Campbell
Vivienne Westwood (the Melissa collaborations are more affordable)
American Duchess

You might have to dig a bit since these brands obviously don't exclusively make designs that fit the lolita aesthetic.

I need some help on the sizing of Bodyline shoes since I don't really understand the size chart and keep reading conflicting reviews. The styles I want to get are:

Shoes258
>http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showProduct2.asp?id=6631
Shoes194
>http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showProduct2.asp?id=4594
Shoes249
>http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showProduct2.asp?id=6417

My feet are 23.8cm long and not especially wide or narrow. Normally I wear European size 37.5

I found one review saying this chart is 100% accurate for Bodyline shoes (which would mean I need size 22.5) but I remember other people saying that your size in Bodyline shoes is the same as your foot length in mm (which would mean I need size 24). I've also read that Shoes249 run big and the RHS run small. And then there was a review about Shoes258 saying that size 24.5 fit a UK size 5 perfectly which completely contradicts the chart but fits with the length=size thing.

...Help? I'm worried that I'll end up with three pairs of unwearable shoes.

Dont go with charts. Japanese sizes are in cm, meaning a size 23 is 23 cm. So you would need a 24 at least. RHS are narrow, so i wouldnt say they run small but that they are not for wide people, so a 24.5 may be best.

I'm basically exactly the same size as you, 23.5 cm foot and between EU 37 and 38. I recently bought two pairs of Bodyline RHS (shoes194, shoes263) in 24.0 and they fit very comfortably.

There's about 1 cm of wiggle room in the back when I wear them without socks. The sole measures almost exactly 24 cm and, at their widest point, they measure about 8.5 cm across.

Hope this helps!

Trying to find cute shoes suitable for sweet in a US 10 that aren't Bodyline or cheap replicas from China is next to impossible. I don't have any trouble getting stuff for gothic or classic, but with sweet if I find a cute style the colors are wrong, or if I find the right color, they're stiletto heels or ballet flats. I've ordered from them directly and will admit, the shipping was pretty pricey. But I always get EMS because my parcels delivery guy is a dick and has lost packages before.

They're easy to deal with directly. But if you want to use SAL, go for a shopping service that offers that instead.

I know BL can be stupid with sizing sometimes, so does anyone have these? Are they true to size or a little large? I'm somewhere between a 240 and a 245.

Yes they do. Here is their newest one

I think they're lovely, but rather plain for the price. I think I could find something similar for less offbrand.

When I first got into lolita, I bought a pair of shoes based on a sizing chart. It was two sizes too big.

Honestly, I don't think people should ever "convert" the shoe size from pairs they own to pairs they want to know. Measure your foot. Find out if the shop sells based on insole size or foot size. Buy according to that.

Converting from shoes you own so rarely works, because every brand does their sizing differently.

I ordered my exact size and it was slightly larger than my feet. Not large enough to actually make them hard to wear though, just a bit more than wiggly room.

Just how pink are Bodyline's pink shoes? Like, both dark pink and light pink?

How well do you think they'd match the pink in Magical Etoile? I've been trying to coord the OP forever, but I'm scared to get shoes that wouldn't match. Are tea parties an absolute must with sweet? Could I get away with platform type shoes?

Goddamn I have no idea what I'm doing

Does anyone know where I can find cute, affordable lolita-able shoes in a size US Women's 4? It is such a pain in the ass to have such tiny feet, I feel like all the shoes I find are either super expensive or super cheap Asian shoes and I'm not sure how nice they are.

What are your thoughts on the JM shoes? I've been searching for pics and the older releases look better...

Pic related - the colour I want to buy. The edges look really roughly cut and unfinished. Maybe it was intentional for this release but prefer cleaner lines.

I've seen them irl, in my opinion they look really cheap and plasticy and are obviously costume shoes. But then I've had that opinion about brand shoes too, so it depends on what you like.
