If you go more towards the shabby chic route you will be fine with that colour scheme. I'd recommend having the furniture white for a more mature look plus it means you can change the balance of pink and blue around the furniture more easily

My current apartment ended up with all my dark brown antique furniture + my boyfriend's dark brown floor and it looks absolutely terrible.
