I finally got the Vampire Forest JSK in my preferred cut and colourway, I'm so happy! I've been trying to get this for at least 2 years now.

I think what it's saying is that they used a photo of this particular JSK that they already had rather than taking a new one of this specific dress, so that it might look a bit different. Would anyone be able to possible confirm this for me?

I did not appreciate how my SS handled my request. I receive what looks like used instead of new. The soles are intact and clean but leather wrinkles easily, especially with metallic coating, so the worn look is there. $500 for used? ....

Anyway anon. The shoes look nice, but id go with brown over bronze because metallic shoes look worn and old much too fast. The shoed uses snaps like most lolita shoes, you dont have to fuss with buckles. Its comfortable. Honestly? The other colors might be worth it, but definitely not bronze. Ugh im pissed.

Uh, 86cm isn't large, anon. Most brand is minimum 86cm. The only thing you should have an issue with is old VM/MM and Moitie (or empire waist dresses, if you have a big cup size/aren't very thin).
My bust is 83 cm and have actually had issues with a number of dresses being too big.

It could be your cup size, or your ribcage. There are many things that affect the fit of a dress. I personally wouldn't consider that bust measurement very large for lolita, it's average.

If you have a large cup size, frequently the dress will look off or the bodice will look stuffed because the dress is made to fit someone with a similar bust measurement but much smaller cup. I'm the 83cm anon from above, and a lot of dresses look weird on me (despite being under measurements) because I wear a 26-28E.
You could also have a longer/shorter torso. Basically, it's hard to buy dresses and know they'll fit you well until you try a lot of different styles from various brands and figure out which ones fit you.
Most brands have a few different styles that they just tweak, either with prints or fabric/details, and release over and over, so it's not too bad.

Anyways, I can't really judge quality comparatively because I only own those two pair of shoes and a pair of taobao shoes that aren't too high in quality.

Here's the run-down:
