There's a lot of different ways to tie them, and it depends on what style of hakama, gender, activity or sport, and family or association. That's ONE way to tie them for a miko, there's at least two other ways I've seen tutorials for. Best bet is to look at how the character wears them and then find out how to tie them that way.

I have thick dark brows too and I just end up bleaching them ever so slightly before a con, just enough so that they're not as heavy. About 2 minutes is enough to get them where I can either colour or leave them be but it'll depend on your own hair. I use the same facial hair bleach I use on my upper lip and it works perfectly and doesn't last too long. If they do go a bit too light it's easy to darken them with pencil until they're back to normal as well.

Cheers! I always heard you should never bleach your brows but it makes sense to do it with facial hair bleach. Knowing you've done it makes me less nervous. Such a sha!e there's no temporary solution, but I guess eyebrows do fall out / grow back fast.

Does anyone have a tutorial for boot covers that doesn't involve a sewing machine? I need to make covers for Sayaka's boots. I have very little sewing experience but I know bare basics and am willing to wing it.
