I disagree, her wig looks completely ratty and unkempt and what the hell is going on with the tiny straps around her ankles? They don't look like part of the shoe and if they are it doesn't look good on her. The shoes themselves don't look like they're even fitting her correctly.

Also, her arms are too big for that kind of transparent sleeve. It should look puffy, not like her arm is taking up the whole space. The dress itself even look poorly made. The mistakes here are too overt to be nitpick.

It's a combination of things. First of all, everything is pretty ill-fitting. The blouse looks like a regular office/school blouse with crappy lace stuck round the collar. As for the skirt, the ribbon trim looks pretty cheap, so when you make yours, pick some nice quality ribbon trim. Her skirt also doesn't really look like it can hold a good petticoat under it. Overall, the shape of the skirt is quite lumpy and uneven. The waistband is so twisted and everything looks very unironed and sloppy.

For me, having a good coord in one thing, but having it actually look good on you is another key step that lots of people (busty girls i'm looking at you) fail at. If shit doesn't fit you, it just doesn't look good. It doesn't matter how well you've balanced your colours, if your clothes don't fit right, it's going to look bad. That bodice is visibly straining to contain those boobs, not a good look.

Sure, it's a style of skirt that's common in sailor lolita. Just make sure it's constructed well and has at least 3x your waist measurement in fabric. My tips:
- First of all, learn what suits you in general. Look at people your size, look how/ what they are wearing, take it as an inspiration.

- IW's JSKs with adjustble straps(!!!). Most of these go up to 100cm+, depending on the piece, and the adjustable straps will make sure the JSK will sit right on your waist
- Some Btssb pieces are bigger, Meta too. Just look up the measurements/worn pictures.
- Partially shirred pieces (shirring in the back) are okay
- Fully shirred pieces will make you look fat. No exceptions. Rather invest in custom made pieces.
-If it doesn't fit/suits you, SELL IT, buy something better
- buy custom sized indie brands / taobao
- skirts+blouses are an option too

Good luck Anon, I know how hard it can be for busty people in Lolita. You will have to work harder choosing and finding pieces, but please do not give up!

I'd definately recommend adjusting the button on the straps. That helps a lot with boobloaf. Look for IW dresses that don't have lace detailing on the front bust seams where the seam blends into the fabric (vertical stripes). IW is cut for narrow frames and small, high busts. But I've been able to work around some pieces well. I have broad shoulders, a wide ribcage, short torso and large bust. So finding things that work out well is difficult. IW doesn't always have the best results. I do have a collection of boleros though which help in that case.

I'm going to argue that Meta's fully shirred pieces are really quite nice for larger busts. The piece I have also has adjustable straps, so that helps address issues with fit as well. I have two fully shirred baby pieces and they don't look nearly as flattering. The shirred pieces meta typically releases only have 3 channels of elastic, making it look much more like a regular jsk as opposed to the finer shirring of other brands. Also, the piece I have has wide set should straps, so I think that helps with the appearance as well.

The measurements on their site are misleading though. My bust is 102 cm, and the released measurements for the dress I own states 89 cm.

Aw she isn't doing too bad, that dress is beautiful, I also agree that the tights do look cute with the dress. I would change out the shoes for white tea party's and a short sleeved blouse. The star clips are kinda cute on the dress also, I would just style her hair in nice sleek waves or loose curls. Either that of get a brown soft waved wig that's chest length.
