I really don't see what could be ita about Kuroneko. Maybe the bows on the arms, but otherwise the black/white balance is good, there's only a little lace. And yes I understand it's a cosplay. Out of all of the anime lolitas out there I'd put Kuroneko up there with ParaKiss for having mostly legit lolita.

I've always loved the shit out of the outfit on the right (minus chii ears), I would totally wear that to some kinda goth/fetish club but wouldn't dare ever attach the lolita stamp to it.

The Deathsmiles team becomes more awkward/kinda disturbing when you realize the blonde girl is supposed to be 11 (plays it anyway and tries not to give too much thought to it).

Also, off-topic but semi-related, it upsets me a little that so many lolitas, especially the newer ones don't realise how much influence Mana has had on the development of lolita and its increase in popularity. I've always heard that he even came up with the term itself but people often just dismiss him as "that annoying cross dresser". It makes me even sadder that the G&LB barely feature him anymore, he only has 2 pages compared to at least double that in the past. It's because of him that we have the G&LBs.

Yes, It's by Bisco Hatori. The manga is called Millennium Snow... and it's kind of like Twilight. The main female character has a rare heart disease and is basically going to die young. Then the guy with black hair shows up and he's a vampire, the blond is a werewolf and she likes them both and they both like her. I like it so maybe that just says things about me that I shouldn't admit.

When I first started hearing about Mori Girl I and seeing what it looked like I thought of Honey and Clover though I think the manga totally predates the style. Though I'd say it's more "Cult Party Kei" which I swear was the name of a thrift store but apparently it's its own style now? Like I said this is all a matter of if things go according to plan. I really really want to do my study abroad in Germany since I've been practicing and doing my best to teach it to myself.
